Warning!!!
Do not buy this phone M7.
I was so stupid to buy it less than 1 year ago and it already broke now...
Beyond repair...
My Siemens ME 45 lasted for 8 or 9 years, and its still working.
The guy's from Benq thought they could copy German quality but unfortunately not.
They build al lot a cheap chinese crap parts in an even cheaper housing.
ABSOLUTELY NOT WATERPROOF EVEN SPLASH, and also not dustproof.
Battery connector breaks easily and the quality of te battery itself is also very doubtfull.
For 300 euro i expected more quality.
In fact its proven Benq can't make phones and i realy mis Siemens.
Anybody experience with Sonim xp3?

Well for the Siemens ME series I started with M45, M65 and M75. These phones all serve my requirement as a shock and water resistance phone. The M45 is great. M65, not too bad. the ME75 is a disappointment as the rubber side peeled and the rubber knob dropped.
Some how I am still looking forward to every M series release.

I used Siemens ME45 then M60 and M75, now I use a Nokia 5500. The best ever phone for me was the ME45, undestroyable, enduring water for 10 minutes (once it dropped into a lake), dust and heat. I used one for almost 5 years with the same battery, and now a friend of mine uses it. If BenQ M7 is similar in quality to the M45, together with its new functions, I definitly buy one. For the Nokia 5500 I now use, the keyboard was changed in half a year, it is not the quality I expected and got from ME45. We see what comes!

a company like Benq cannot be trusted and thus I will never buy any product from them what so ever its looks or does.
They stole mony from the pension fund when their joint venture with SiemensBenq got bust, took all patents with them, left the employees on the streets and still paid top managers their bonuse albeit many families in the production suffered.
BENQ NEVER NEVER AGAIN !

Benq doesn't suck; it's u who sucks
U require brains to understand the quality and the features of a phone or any object, u just can’t comment anything on the looks. grow up u babies

hmm, i used to have some Siemens GSM phone before they were bought by benq, and that's when i decided to stop using Siemens.
i loved Siemens phones, they are beautiful and powerfull gadgets.
but i won't buy any benq products.
my reason is... i don't know about their GSM product, but benq was known for their bad computer peripheral products quality here for years, that's why a lot of people (including me) find it hard to put their trust on any product that had the word "benq" engraved on its body.
