Aslipundit, 05 Sep 2018V30 is selling fine and so is G7. Go check the sheer number... moreLG V30+ & G7 numbers are nothing to be excited about for LG, only the loyal fans are buying them. Go check the reviews of G7, nearly half the reviews aren't happy with the device. Also LG releases their devices(including flagships) too late for the Indian market compared to Korea,EU, China etc Their midrange devices are pathetic, every1 agrees to that but G7 isn't doing well. Potential buyers of LG who have moved on to Huwaei & OP in the last 2 years aren't going to come back easily, LG has priced their flagships aggressively but aren't marketing it, they need to spend on advertisement & also need to connect with Youtube reviewers & sites like gsmarena better. I want both LG & Sony to do so much better like earlier times.

Maverick65, 05 Sep 2018May be because they are focusing on a India specific device... moreV30 is selling fine and so is G7. Go check the sheer number reviews on ecommerce websites. Its the mid range where they are struggling in India, due to a lack of credible options. shitty SOCs have let LG phones down in the mid range. Not a single phone in their catalogue with snapdragon 660/670/636 socs. Not even Helio P60. Its either low end Mediatek or weak 400 series Snapdragons...

LG really needs to update it's dated UI and icons, which has been on the same look since years.

We indian have shitty water and we breath in most poluted air, and one of the most unhappy country ranking 133 .

Tanjung perak, 05 Sep 2018Why only to focus in india?? They mostly only afford cheap ... moreMay be because they are focusing on a India specific device & LG Q9 could launch in India first & may launch in other markets within weeks. Also the source of this leak must be from an India tipster/website so the post has been reproduced w/o editing much.
LG has lost a lot of marketplace in India & if they release a good midranger w/ some decent advertising, it will certainly do well & will help them in selling their flagships better since both LV30+ & LG G7 are aggressively priced in India but aren't selling good due to poor marketing, decrease in brand value etc.
I'm looking for an upgrade & i will be happy to buy LQ Q9 if it is priced as this article suggests. If LQ Q9 is overpriced, i'm thinking of buying Sony Xperia XA2plus or LG V30+ or an Huawei premium midranger.

Didn't LG just announce the Q7? Q Stylus/ Stylo4/ Q8 Stylus? Now Q9? Calm down LG with the hardware. Improve your software first. Sheesh!

Why only to focus in india?? They mostly only afford cheap phone like xioami full flooded with cheap phones

Dear Lg focus on other rich country that match ur price tag

OT but The Hydrogen One aluminum version will be available through AT&T, Verizon and Telcel for $1295. $1300US for a 5.7" screen. Wonder if it will drop in price like the Essential phone did.

They have launched lg q stylus+ for 22,000. How can they launch Q9 for 20,000.
LG has gone mentally bankrupt. They launched a crap like q stylus+ with crap mediatek processors for a price which is not justifiable under any circumstances.
They will launch Q9 at nothing less than ₹25-26,000.
