snapdragon 625? Is this phone launched in 2018? If yes, then why it is priced as Zenfone M1's rival?

                Snapdragon 625, yawn...

Xiaoimi has flooded the market with SD 625 phones. I think they bought 10 years worth of stock and Qualcomm are laughing all the way to the bank...

one of the very prominent feature touted during whole launch was dual Volte support , and yet the most feature packed so called Pro doesn't support it while 6A supports it.... Good job xiaomi.

Snapdragon 625 got so much popularity because of the redmi series line up. Not even the flagship chipsets got this popular. it's been 2years since the processor launched but still xiaomi didn't get sick of using it. I think it is snapdragon named xiaomi processor.

So there's no IR port in Redmi 6/6A, No dedicated micro sd slot, both of which were present in Redmi 5/5A, also there's no ram upgrades, only memory upgrades for higher prices! And Mediatek.... Mi slowly going the Samsung way! These are not worthy upgrades at all.. And Redmi 6 pro is that same uninspiring design with SD 625(!) with exact same pricing as Zenfone Max pro M1.. Good luck with that!
