ovvy, 09 Sep 2018I agree with you to some extent.
But I'd still say that br... moreDefinitely true.
But people who go into stores to buy phones, and buy phones based off advertisements they see, aren't the kind of person to care about what Snapdragon or battery capacity is in a phone.
This is Oppo and Vivo's market. They cater to people who look at advertisements, and think that the phone is used by the celebrities in them or that the camera is "good" or think VOOC charging is cool. Whereas Xiaomi doesn't market their phones as much, so they lose out these people but gain back people looking for the fastest phone for the price.
Also, yeah, if Oppo could sell some phones online only and with better software, they'd totally be a good competitor to Xiaomi, (see Realme 1).

But other people, espec... moreI agree with you to some extent.
But I'd still say that brands like Oppo and Vivo sell expensive phones with bad hardware (except for cameras).
What they do is that they spend a lot of money on advertisement and also they sell their phones in offline market which adds up to the value of the phones because in the offline market, they company sells the phone to the distributer and they sell the phone to the retailer and then the retailer sells the phone to the consumer which adds up a lot of commission.
If Oppo and Vivo cut the commission and sell their phones in online market and also spend less on advertising, they can make good phone like Xiaomi.

But other people, especially in China, do not care about only speed. They want gorgeous design and bragging rights. This phone delivers.

Why not have other brand news that are interesting from China that have global bands like Umidigi One Pro. For $150 a phone that fallows the notch trend but has good dimensions for 5.9 inch screen and has 15W wireless charger and 18W fast charger.
Phone finder is full of idle companies.

If the in-display fingerprint scanner is what elevated the price that high, then they definitely should've discarded it.
Has a fingerprint scanner but no USB-C. lmao

Hmm, not to bad on specs, but micro USB and the fact that there are similar options at a lower price make this phone kinda.....filler. Seriously, the V11 is nearly the exact same thing

just because this phone has a in-display fingerprint scanner does not make it a good phone.
