Firefox update brings variable fonts, dark mode and tracker blocking by default

Opera on desktop and mobile. Firefox is actually very slow compared to Opera, for some strange reason. Both are installed on the same SSD too, but FF takes forever just to start and loading pages takes long too. Opera works extremely fast all the time. But for some sites, having FF is still necessary, which is unfortunate as otherwise I wouldn't even bother to install the damn thing.

If you switch UA string to chrome, it works just fine. So, its not because Firefox isn't capable of handling it.

      Firefox is the best because it has NO GOOGLE AMP crap!. I never see AMP links on Firefox which is amazing. Stopped using Chrome because of incessant AMP results which are mutilated versions of webpages I want to see.

        Firefox is quite cool, since it supports extensions on mobile. But last time I compared a few different popular Android browsers, I liked Brave the most, since it was very fast and had built in ad blocking.

          I've tested Chrome Opera and Firefox on my laptop. Opera was the fastest. But Firefox is very lightweight and smooth. Now I'm using Firefox. It is great.

            Samsung Internet and Chrome. :)

              This is wreaking havoc with all the VPN's I use, very slow load times and not everything shows up as it should, I regret updating but last time it auto updated and I didn't have a choice 61.0.1

                I've always liked Firefox
