pl2rts, 07 Sep 2018While HMD want to be Finnish company they really dont look ... moreThe advertisements are made by the Nokia marketing for Taiwan, why in the world would this people use Europeans? Just to what? To call all others not worthy if you are not european? Some people stupidity amazes me.

Anonymous, 08 Sep 2018It has dropped because of dreadful sales. You have no idea what you're talking about. Only the camera update specially for the 8 was downloaded for over 1.000.000+ times. Dreadfull sales are in your head. For a company that is 1 year on the market, it is called the greatest achivement anyone in this world ever made in such short time. In 2017 HMD was the fastest growing company and actually defyed all business plans ever made. Wanna know why? Well cause they sold more devices then sony and HTC combined even tough they just got in the market. Not even apple managed to do this, with all their selling skils: they sold a maximum of 1 mil devices 3 years in a raw while HMD sold 4.4 mil in Q4 2017. So get your head out of your own a'' and learn better before posting the usual troll nonsense.

pl2rts, 07 Sep 2018While HMD want to be Finnish company they really dont look ... moreOf course the ad has an Asian person. The phone is launching in Taiwan and the ad was likely made by the HMD team at Taiwan.

But well they need to do anything if they want to aim the biggest markets in the world where most of the market dont know anything about what is Nokia and have market full of different types of devices we cant even imagine.

Comeback would of been better when they would of choose markets there brand was known as a priority market.

For me as i were a Nokia fan i feel just as same as some good TV seies gets canceled in a cliffhanger and then gets a story ending in after year or two with some lame flashbacks and time wasting for the 10 minutes of the story you get out of it.

Despite having a notch, for this price I am waiting for the 5.1 Plus to arrive in Europe.

The launch price of the Nokia 8 was 599€ but I can frequently see it on sale for 349€ or even 299€. So yes, close to a half the price. Even the 2,5 years old S7 edge price has dropped less than the Nokia 8 in just under a year.

Anonymous, 07 Sep 2018At launch it certainly wasn’t for the price. Now the price ... moreNokia 8 at launch was 575 and was one of the fastest android ever and probably still is, for half the price, now it costs 320. So nope is not half. That would be samsung. Not even s8 can't keep up with the Nokia 8. And the 6gb RAM version is even snappier. So yeah, i go for that.7 is also good, but can't stay in front of the 8.

                            50/50

IDK if that camera sample is realistic.

Only HMD Global that hasn't been a total fail was the Nokia 7 plus. Shocking!

Why do all Chinese advertisements or companies do PR with fake photos? Do the Chinese believe it or is it for aesthetics?

That is probably the most unrealistic photo ever.

A selfie-like photo taken in a well-lit studio combined with a night sky with Northern lights.
I mean at least make it believable, by changing how the face is exposed.

                                        Should be Nokia 9
