They market it everywhere that it brings 60% performance improvement and 30% efficiency improvement but Anandtech's finally brought to attention that they've in fact been citing numbers comparing the Kirin 960's G71MP8 on 16nm without GPU Turbo against Kirin 970's G72MP12 on 10nm with GPU Turbo. Actual improvements attributed to GPU Turbo are in the single digits, and only applicable to a handful of games.
Huawei's a bunch of fakes, we'll see how much they'll be faking on the next announcement.

          looks great android

I cannot believe anything this company says anymore!

If my P20 Pro shattered from single drop (both panels) despite being in it’s case... then I can just imagine what will curved display be like... is Huawei doing this on purpose?

While Huawei cheating on benchmarks is sad, there should be rules for everyone. Even the various scared for Apple are a joke. I have found many Android phones to be way more his than Apple, despite the grossly exaggerated claims of multi and single core performance by Apple, to the contrary.
                Rules should Apply to everyone.

Big notch! if you know what I mean

Anonymous, 07 Sep 2018Mate 20 with the waterdrop notch will be the one to get ;)And that one's also going to come with lower resolution display. Heck even Sony opted for 2K resolution this year, I think it's now the time we all move away from lower resolution display.
6.3 inch + OLED pentile + FHD = Poor sharpness.

                          S 10 plus killer

newt, 07 Sep 2018So you'd rather have this space unused by the screen? Notch... moreWell, that's a valid point, yet only valid for the case of iPhone X.
All of the Chinese phones are not doing to minimize bezels though, they are doing it just to resemble the iPhone X, for copying it's trademark design, their inability to keep those bezels as minimal, as Apple gave birth to the freakshow design of a notch, with a chin.
The bezels are still there, on the chin. They could make them symmetrical, like LG, Sony and Samsung. But no, they had to copy Apple, minimize the bezels as much as they can on top, so that they can have notches and let the extra bezel to grow a chin...

Mate 20 with the waterdrop notch will be the one to get ;)

I know nothing is known for certain yet, but if these rumors are true, then the regular Mate 20 seems like the better option. Water-drop notch looks far more elegant than Apple-esque notches. Also, 1080P display would mean better battery life than 1440P one. It all comes down to camera... let's wait and see if they both share the same cameras or if the regular one gets downgraded setup...
