i try connect my Samsung A70 to BENQ and LENOVO displays using original Samsung USB Type-C EE-HG950DBRGRU cabel.

Samsung NOTE 9 work perfect the same displays. A70 - show "no signal" on both displays.

Remember the forced memory issue with the iPhone or inability to upgrade older iPads with iOS 11, despite them having the power to run it? Built in obsolescence.

              Can this be used with Samsung A8+?

                This is indeed a nice thing. I see how it could be useful.

                To me, personally - this would be useless. But for some people this could be best feature yet.

                  I still have the Samsung MHL cable that I used on my Note 4. It did the same thing, displaying the contents of the Note 4 screen (or other MHL compliant phone) onto an attached monitor. I used the Note 4 with our video projector with Google Slides as if it was a laptop. Displayed in 1080P and worked like a charm! (Had mouse and Bluetooth keyboard connected.)

                  If Adobe ported FULL on Photoshop and Illustrator to Android, (no way Premiere would run on a phone - yet, although their new Rush app does of course), then Samsung could literally make laptops obsolete overnight with DeX.

                  Most business users only do documents and spreadsheets, which are already handled by Google Docs and Office 365, so they don't even need the Adobe CC apps.

                  Samsung should really push Android/Chrome app devs to make their apps work full screen before Apple do something similar with the very powerful iPhone (8, X, X Max?) that has A series CPU hardware wasted on youth.

                    Honestly this is why i sonetimes prefere Apple or other companies. Why not make it compatible with S8 S9 and Note 8. All devices are capable of this and you enlarge the customer base. Why restrict it to Note8. Its cuatomer alienation instead of cusfomer loialty
