Not sure why anyone would be expecting a folding Note. A risk like that could destroy all of the branding they've built around that name. It would make more sense to call a foldable phone something new, as not everyone will want a foldable phone (at least in the first few generations) and everyone wanting a non-foldable Note or an S series phone in the interim will be spending their money elsewhere.

    Improved s pen
    At least 4500mah battery

    Not much of a camera phone fan so i can deal with whatever they'll come up with. And i already know it's going to have the best display so no wishes there.

    Oh, and hopefully they'll bundle it again with a smart tv for preorders. Will definitely splurge for that.

        I hope they go 6.6"-7" inch on the screen w/ a massive battery.

        If Honor and Xiaomi can do 5000+mah on their 6.9" inch phablets,

        Samsung should get some idea how to execute it to seperate the S with the Note for good

            2020 will be the 10 Year Anniversary, so they could change the naming then. But for the release schedule they will continue with their current tactic:

            Feb - eu800, Flagship, 5.8inch, 4GB RAM, 3,500mAh, Dualcam
            Feb - eu900, Flagship Plus, 6.2inch, 4GB RAM, 4,000mAh, Dualcam
            Sep - eu999, Flagship Note, 6.4inch, 8GB RAM, 5,000mAh, Triplecam

            Since the Note-series comes towards the end of the year, from a value perspective it is less than the S+ variant. So to even things out, the Note-series gives you the S Pen, More RAM, Slightly larger battery, and Slightly better camera. There's nothing differentiating the regular S to the S+ variant besides the larger screen size and slightly larger battery. However, since the larger model is more demand, Samsung decides to charge more for it, to keep the Note-series more competitive. Otherwise, no-one would buy the Note-variant since the S Pen isn't a good selling point anymore (never was), since it was the larger battery and screen size that were the major selling points. It seems like Apple is going to plagiarise a page from Samsung and implement a three-variant system themselves, but we'll have to wait until the official announcement first.

                        Something like they did in 2014, when their only high end phones are the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4; no Galaxy S5+, S5 Edge, etc.

                            Samsung will ditch Note series from 2019. Will be three dimensions beginning with S10 and the biggest will have pen and will replace Note. Apple receipe: every year three dimensions. Small, Normal, Large.

                              There must be some deep secret hiding on the next Note series.
