Well shame for apple they gave a beggar new shiny coat and presnt him as a brand new trend.
Old phones with old specs apart A12 and with a price of a super phone.
Poor battery and huge screen thats not very priomising. Apple failed again.

Took em a decade to catchup with android/samsung in terms of dual sim..ip68.they will innovate qhd display when rest of the world moves to 8k display..since 4k been out thre fr long now.

For ... moreThey've theoritically reduced prices, because they were losing market share big time, regardless of what paid scribes were told to report.
They saved HUGE moving from OLED to inferior screen tech. So, in effect, their Profit Margins have INCREASED with these new launches.
They have also cut corners elsewhere.
I like the fact that smartphones are moving to larger screens, with larger screen to body ratios. But that notch...

I also realised that Apple is the ONLY flagship on the world that still sells 720p display phones.
It took it almost a decade to reach QuadHD display resolution.

The AWS4 can sense if you fall and will call emergency if you are immobile for a minute. Probably not convenient for skaters but should be on every senior citizen living in a convalescent home.
A smartphone can't do that. This Apple Watch Series 4 is my main attention grabber today following only the Henry Cavill news. In the words of the great Lloyd Christmas, I LIKE IT A LOT.

They also have the Exact Same sensor size as the ones on the S8 and S9.
I was hoping that Computattional Photography really irons out the issues that tiny sensors still have (lack of great detail, inability to shoot fast moving subjects, low dynamic range compared to large sensor cameras, mostly terrible low light etc).
I think Samsung should Insist on Sony making a 12MP sensor that does 120fps at Full Res. It could easily iron out the majority of issues with electronic shutter and also with tiny sensors.

Xr 749, Xs 999, Xs Max 1099 :DDDD basically a robbery, it is insane prices comparing how limited iOS is and Android offers pretty much similar hardware in better Android OS. One Plus 6T or Pocaphone is much more worth it than all those new iphones

While Apple phones don't fit in these categories with there prices. Even there cheapest model that will cost same as flagship phones from other brands.

XDFor budget users the iPhone X is still the best choice, the LCD phone has low PPI, and it doesnt really benefit from the A12 chip in important areas. Haptic touch will also be annoying and slow to use, and single cam is a downgrade from the X. No thanks, the X is still the worlds third best smartphone.

For general user, most of this is waffle, the XS is essentially the same as last years X....
I always laugh when they say how they want you phone to be as personal as possible, when you are limited to how much you can customise it to you taste..... I dropped the Iphone after they took away the ability to switch off bluetooth and wifi conpletely with the control centre toggle......that and no headphone jack was too much...Android took a while to get used to, but
now there's no going back..
