      WP7 has great potential:
full ecosystem to work with (windows8 + winphone)
      deep pockets (nokia + microsoft)

if they can consistently polish up winphone it wouldnt be surprising if it eats up huge market share

      to do that:
      more 3rd party apps
      major proprietary apps (skype/office/etc)
      flash support
      desktop-to-mobile integration (vice versa)
      NFC
      Better Navigation

Quietly failed, just kidding. The phone is affordable but the quality of Acer is not good enough like HTC and Apple.

          Seriously...

"3.6" LCD unit with WVGA resolution. A 5MP camera with LED flash can be found on the back of the device. The usual connectivity suite is on board. The Allegro is powered by a 1300 mAh battery. Its measures stand at 116 x 59 x 13mm, and its weight is 126 grams"

Who will buy this piece of junk for 299 €?? Fi that price you can SE Xperia Arc, LG Optimus 3D and Black or a high end HTC.

              Windows phone is just nice..
              Alot of eye candy

Some people dont mind if they have to sync their phone with a software.. It keep the virus out from the phone..

But the only reason why I stay away from WP 7 for awile because of lack of apps and the security that Microsoft made for the phone.. The Jailbreaking issues for the WP7 inhibited the user from using most of the functionality of the phone..

Thats Lame.. Better stick with Android phones and iPod Touch and iPad..

Those three rule the world.. Awesome...

Android phone for phone and text message/whatapp (woohoo) (maybe SGS2 should be given a chances)
iPod touch for music and apps (love it than HTC for beats)
iPad for work, school and apps (Helpful apps for school like infinity blade. hehe)

Dont like Android tablet.. Feels like its lacking of something except for Flash player(better off with android phones) like WP7(No flash player ++ lame)

WP7 wave is coming, slowly but surely. Once Nokia does well with sales, watch the wave turn into a tsunami, as the other manufacturers jump in.

The Nokia 710 really blows this out of the water:
                    - 30 Euros cheaper
                    - 1.4Ghz processor vs. 1Ghz processor
                    - IPS LCD display vs. regular LCD
                    - Most likely, better camera
                    - Free GPS navigation software

                    It's a no brainer.

I am sure Microsoft will back with the bang. WP7.5 already gaining popularity and they are launching Windows8 as well.
And Microsoft is expecting Windows8 would be like legend like Windows 95.

Lumia kinda set the standard for what WP7 (Mango) phones and for 299 euros, the Lumia 710 does seem a better deal.
