I want to be impressed but I'm just not, Apple can only brag about their A12 chip but other than that every other Android flagship out there either meet or exceed it. And Steve Jobs would never approve of a 6.5" Max phone or the name Max itself.

This time iphone pricing have crossed the limits in phone selling. 144490 rupees for a phone is it kind of a joke, I use a iphone X and i had been updating my iphone every year since iphone 6 was launched but this time I really don't want to upgrade my iphone any more.

Sad facts, 17 Sep 2018I hate iPhones. Its success is the slow demise of the human... moreI'm trying to put myself into your perspective. I did, and concludes that you're pretty much correct though. They've been iterative each year, squeezing every tech that already present. They executed it good, sure. But boy did they feel they invented all those tech and charge ultra-premium price on their products. This year, Apple Watch is the only thing that's innovative. Others? Meh.
On a not-so-serious side, with 1449 USD I'd rather have iPhone 7Plus 128GB (or Galaxy Note8) + Panasonic Lumix GH85 + PanaLeica Summilux + Leather Backpack. It's not practical, sure. But it's far more liberating for me who works secondarily on content creation.

I'd be willing to pay the premium if I also got a very good product in return. That clearly isn't the case with this line-up. There are no stand-out features or interesting design choices. Only real plus would be the prospect of iOS updates, but then again I don't plan on using my next phone for 5 years. Right now the S9 not only looks better and has specs that match the price point, but it's also 130€ cheaper than the XR.

I hate iPhones. Its success is the slow demise of the human race intelligence.
1. It took too much of Apple's time, which they took from Macs, iPads.
2. It bring its useless features back into Macs.. like touchbars and slim weak keyboards.
3. It weakens the Pro users, with their casual features.. like disable Mac's auto repeat keys by default.. so they can add accented keys.
4. It aids people who have low IQ.. and make it dumb easy to promote their weak ideas to pollute the world..
5. It pollutes other phone makers who aimlessly copies it in all form factors, which in turn generate tons of waste.
6. It causes tons of lawsuits and underpaid / overworked workers.
Thats iPhone. So easy, simple and good to use, its BAD. I am not surprise of its haters.. but sad facts is.. it will not die.

We already know the answer here in GSMArena, it will be overwhelmingly negative from all the haters, and entirely not reflect reality.
Either GSMArena has to find a way to handle the haters, or instead just specify its for a haters heavy poll and will not reflect reality lol.

Judging by every comment section on the internet - Apple should have cease to exist years ago... camera is apparenly terrible, battery life non existent, software buggy (iOS is definitley known for lags, unlike Android, right?) and phone is pretty much bad - yet terribly expensive. And they lost innovation (despite Face ID...)
In reality - Apple is doing surprisingly good. They even set trends that Android manufacturers follow and copy. Lots of people do switch on iPhone every year. And no, camera is not washed out, it just doesn't look artificial like the one on P20 Pro (yes, I had P20 Pro, but I broke it). That's why iPhone cameras are usually put in lists of best phone cameras. And to everyone who will flame me - I did not say P20 Pro has a bad camera, I just said it looks artificial to me.

As if the HTC Touch HD w/ TouchFLO 3D (2008) wasn't already running circles around the iPhone 3GS in regards to functionality, and real world usage. Not to mention the HTC HD2 w/ HTC Sense UI, which utilized the greatest mobile operating system known to man, Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional. It released the same year as the 3GS, and could hardly be rivaled by any device on the market. True innovation.
Yes, the iPhone 3GS put up big numbers in sales, and Apple laughed all the way to the bank, but the device was garbage overall. So much so that an entirely separate support center had to be created just to handle all of the issues, and returns. Most notably, battery overheating, horrible reception, and mainboard faults.
Yeah, superb device.
