Anonymous, 18 Sep 2018Yeah... what I described about fastest degrading batteries ... moreNot according to linus tech tips, i thought my s7 was an exception like after a year the unit gets pretty hot after charging and would reach about 50% charge around noon after a light use in the morning, apparently he also has a bad experience with samsung phone battery life, so samsung has problems with battery life on their phones

Anonymous, 17 Sep 2018well a notch which is an idiotic and useless idea was reall... moreJust maximum apple fanboyism!
I am really Curious about notch practicality! just name one!(you cant even add clock icon there to show device have an active alarm! let alone other things!)
"The notch also can be easily hidden using a black notification background." really!
an opetion to hide STH called practical! why? maybe it is not so practical!

"They are fools. By buying the 512GB version they achieve the exact same thing without needing to use a secondary slowery form of memory."
oh yeah! and you are the most smart one?
what happens when you record a lot of 4K + HDR videos? or having music videos in 4K and so on!
so having an expanding option is always good!

"More lies. It is far easier to fool a fingerprint sensor just by taking a sample of a person's fingerptint (by analysing often the very phone they have stolen)"
                haha, What the fucking denial!
It has been done. just search you can find related news!
Oh no, I've forgot apple fanboys don't search they just accept every shit apple says!
You know taking finger print need special tools and expertness. It is not your daily apple use!

"Also you haven't used face unlock and it shows"
Well i wonder how you can be so sure? are you some sort of magician or prophet?
It really wonders me how some one with no idea about some one else can judge him!
How much of foolishness can some one put into the way of thinking about others!

"No wonder apple does not support it, let cheaper OEMs to support it" wooow! just woooow!

"Yes, in short better control of background processes. No rogue apps going behind your back and causing memory and battery leaks, standby that works no matter what. Which is why despite the smaller battery Iphones feel to last more a after a year of use than comparable androids."
what? sand box has no control on background processes! it only can control processes which run inside of it!
what you want to say and seems you are really have no idea about how this things work(they appiear like a black box for you) was os can control background processes!
guess the memory control and task keeper are for just those jobs!(preventing memory and battery leaks)
If in sand boxed os an app be able to get out of it's sand box(let's think it as a little bug at kernel level which leads to a filler in sand box)there will be no defense line to control it and it can literally can take full control of your phone without you even noticing!
Well i have to disagree about iphones last more after a year of usage than android phones!
I do had a iphone 6s which after a year of usage couldn't go beyond one day usage while my note 5 could do 1.5 day! (both phone has been bought at same time and both brand new)

"Once again a win for Apple that disgruntled fanboys try to present as loss because really they have nothing."
No comment can be add cause a fanboy always think he is winner!

"Androids used to be at the forefront of technology, they are now following. You should be ashamed of it instead of praising. I do not own Apple products because they suck at most things software. But I am not going to pretend that they don't know hardware. Android OEMs clearly don't anymore and it is sad..."
Yeah i can agree with that android phones where front and now most of OEMs fallow apple trend except for a few which some of them are my fav brands!(those are still at the front)
I should be ashamed of what? Do am i responsible for those OEMs? Do am i one of their shear holders? NOPE! So nothing make sense here by what you want to achieve!
And one more thing when did i praised any OEM? It is like you are the one who praises apple like they will never do STH wrong!
And apple suck at every thing except hardware!(they really have a thing for mobile chips)
That would be my last replay and arguing with you!
                Cause apple fanboyism wont end!

And even without fat charge the already smaller capacity batteries in iPhones degrade faster due to their low capacity.
Intentionally so knowing that it makes more money on repairs and upgrades. And then they use it as the excuse to slow down the cpu.
Just like the low ram count that gets filled up faster with newer updates was also intentional and to push for more sales.

All while it costs them less, but costs you more.
And people like you actually defend this is a benefit yo you somehow and actually believe it. Allowing such dirty tactics to continue.
Yes this is 100% factual. Yes you will deny and twist it.

Anonymous , 17 Sep 2018Lmao...ironically this is actually a fanboy in denial!!! ;)... moreI see you live inside a fanboy distortion field. Everything you say, the exact opposite is true. Never did I think that I met someone so wrong in so many things beforr, you are literally understanding the world oppositely than it is... Wow! I am honestly impressed.

I am not going to address you first paragraph. It's all garbage. Already addressed it, reread the post you replied to. It shoots down every one of your points. Onto your last paragraph then:

"rest of the world is enjoying the shit outta its speed."

Rest of the world is trashing their phone's battery by using "quick charging". Wake up you've been duped. It's a mechanism to force you to upgrade your phone sooner. If android OEMs cared about instant recharge without trashing your battery they would had improved on the removable battery technology (adding a secondary battery to keep the lights on when making the swap).

You are enjoying nothing. Android OEMs made a giant step back in 2013 and are now making another by trashing your battery faster than ever. At least Apple does not give you the tool to do that. Still the option is open to you if you want to take the responsibility of killing your phone.

"Somehow earphone wires were problem for u guys..."

Don't "u guys" me. I am an unfortunate android user like you . Unlike you I am not praising the giant steps back that android take regarding hardware so I am stuck with them.

Lack of 3.5mm is the worst fandroid problem ever invented. In the world of universal ports you still need a 2nd dumber one? *SMH*. Do you also enjoy floppy drives and using flash player?

It is an obsolete technology, it needed to go. Slowly but surely it does finally. There are a million alternatives. Wireless is only one of them. Wired usb-c/lightning is another yet. Cheapo adapter that you always have attached to your 3.5mm headphones is another too. It is a non issue, it was always a non issue. Only fandroids would think it is...

Moj, 17 Sep 2018well a notch which is an idiotic and useless idea was reall... morewell a notch which is an idiotic and useless idea was really hard to place all needed icons in 2 side of it! (if you disagrees ask apple designers!)
no chain ha? well it make phone much more fragile and harder to hold and use!(ask X's users how many times they had an un-intentioned touch?)
"Nobody cares about Sd w 512GB option" are you serious? there are hell lot of people who cares about SD option!
"No need for fingerprint scanner" are you f**king kidding? using STH like apple's 3D face which can be fooled by a mirror? or by a similar face? i and a lot of other people prefer to use STH much more accurate than shit which is no use!
is a phone supposed to support floppy? NO! but a phone which claim to have HQ sound quality must have support 3.5mm!
"Battery, again, ios needs less of it (sandbox design)." oh my GOD!
since when sand boxing means any thing too use less energy? do you have a single idea what sandbox design means?
let me open it a little bit up for you: sand box design means every app has it's own environment which it can run inside it and it is a job of os to share Resources to this mini os's which if any thing goes wrong it may lead to total system failure(the thing's latly happens with ios 11 and 12) the only advantage of this system is no app has access to other app data which can be addressed with other way and less complexity! so Basically this type of programing uses much more battery than others.(also it is a little simpler for app developers to develop this sort of apps)
the only reason iphones have good battery life is they can disable much of mentioned sand boxes which give them much more standby time. also another reason for not using high power cpu and gpu!

                                Lol , more denial.

The notch is very practical for the time being. The alternative is to use a bezel that nobody likes (as sales of bezelful phones show) aaand that leaves the side of it unused.

The notch also can be easily hidden using a black notification background.

"there are hell lot of people who cares about SD option!"

They are fools. By buying the 512GB version they achieve the exact same thing without needing to use a secondary slowery form of memory.

"can be fooled by a mirror? or by a similar face?"

More lies. It is far easier to fool a fingerprint sensor just by taking a sample of a person's fingerptint (by analysing often the very phone they have stolen)

Also you haven't used face unlock and it shows. Nobody returns to fingerprint if they have the comfort of merely glancing at their phone to unlock. Like I said, one is tech from space, the other is pedestrian one. No wonder apple does not support it, let cheaper OEMs to support it

"do you have a single idea what sandbox design means? "

Yes, in short better control of background processes. No rogue apps going behind your back and causing memory and battery leaks, standby that works no matter what. Which is why despite the smaller battery Iphones feel to last more a after a year of use than comparable androids.

They were about to make history in 2013-2014 when they were about to surpass Apple as a high end alternative.... aaaand then they sealed the battery. Became a copycat saw her flagship sales decline to fresh new lows with S9.

Samsung was a falling star that was only bright for a minute and their own actors shot it down eventually unfortunately killing the only true competition to iPhone. The rise of the Chinese give us hope that we'd get new competitors but Samsung certainly was a dissapoitment. They shot themselves in the foot.

laggdroids, 17 Sep 2018To refresh your junk cache : iPhone started the no physi... moreTo refresh your junk cache :

iPhone started the no physical keyboard phones - IBM Simon in 1992.
-you do realise that the Simon was not the basis of the design of the current phones right? you notice that right? basically almost all smartphone now was base on the iphone design, the bar, with touch screen, the UI, you notice that right?

iPhone 3GS started the app store. - Symbian OS had 100 of sis/sisx applications, who also could support multitasking feature.
-the symbian market did not generate income for developers, you notice that right??? it was the app store that really made a market and income for developers, symbian was nowhere close to app store, app store was also the business model for google store not symbian

iPhone 4 started the high resolution display “retina” and metal frame glass back - Go back to the days of Nokia N Series
-for pete sake, nokia did not have those ppi like we do now for reference, you know that right??? the ppi was due to the retina display, now everybody is crazy about high ppi count. which N series has the metal frame glass back???

iPhone 4s started the “virtual assistant” Siri - Assistant (by Speaktoit) was released in March 2011 vs Siri in October 2011.
-release the same year but tell me this, which UI or interface or interaction did the world adapted??? google assistant or cortana is nowhere near Speaktoit, all assistant needs to press the home button to activate and that idea was from... that is right, you do notice that right?

iPhone 5 started the all metal body phone - Man, do your homework. Nokia N91 had all metal body way back in 2005.
-metal body my foot, it was mix metal clading and plastic

iPhone 5s started the finger print authentication - Motorola Atrix back in 2011.
                                    - but it never gain traction and again which location and design of the fingerprint scanner is on majority of the phones as 5s??? that right the circular button located at the bottom chin

iPhone 7+ started the dual cam design - HTC EVO 3D had dual lens setup back in 2011.
-are you kidding me, which design are most prevalent on smartphones today, is it the HTC EVO design??? no, its the 7+ design and now smartphones also has those telephoto lens as the second lens, you do notice the 7+ lens design right, it like in most smartphone now, they did not make the dual lens with the flash at the middle or a square design dual lens or a circular design dual lens... you do see that right, its not the HTC EVO dual lens design that is being followed

let me just add the death of the headphone jack started by apple.
