Sad but true. LG G flex, G2, G3, G4, etc but all we know is what Apple did and Samsung copied nowadays :D

They were pretty much good at giving out updates. In fact, they were better than Samsung in this aspect back in the day. My sister's LG G4 received Marshmallow just a month after it became official on the Nexus 6P in 2015.
Probably they've lost a lot of profit when their modular G5 has failed on them, and so they started again from scratch, which made it hard for them to push updates quickly on their devices.

If you're just after performance and not care about anything else, then you could save some cash with the Pocophone F1.
Out of the three, I would certainly suggest the OnePlus 6 since it's pretty much the most complete among them.
But I advice that you wait for the Galaxy S9+'s price to drop around your budget range. If you want to sacrifice some performance for some serious photography, Huawei P20 Pro it is!
