      I am just mad that the shovel phones are here because of the huge demand in Asia for such devices. And since in Europe and USA people can afford expensive boutique toys such as Sony XZ Compact or iphone 7 everyone is happy. Except the people in countries with low income like us in Eastern Europe. But it is better to use huge Xiaomi on good price than iShit which costs my half year salary.

                          Notch and same chipset

                            It is OK. I've never been interested in Note series since they cannot be operated by humans, but obviously people in Asia have mutated and their fingers have enlarged (which is good if you want to scratch your nose or ear from inside).
                            The chipset is OK - fast enough and it will keep the price low.
                            I will not judge the size, since it is Note, but the notch is hard to be swallowed by me. Of course it doesn't matter, because it resembles iPhone and it will be cheap.
                            My only hope is that Redmi 7 will be small with tiny bezels, but there is no chance fot this.

                                  lol..I just ordered RN5 AI last day and saw RN6 Pro is going to announce. First I felt very much dissappointed and later when i saw the Hardware details, feeling better. Only screen and camera improvement.

Mi Note 3 and Mi A2 will be the lower barrier for Redmi series to upgrade. At best, the next Redmi Note may contain SD660, which by the time Mi Note 4 might have been released containing something new (I really hope it returns to flagship lineup so it has SD8XX instead of 6XX or 7XX).
