If you are doing notch - then do a NOTCH, with earpiece, camera, Face ID sensor, notification LED or whatever... -or don't do it at all (Samsung style)
This type of notch is most irritating, ugly looking thing I saw on a phone in long time. Like big black dot on your screen that just won't go away. That bezel on the bottom of the phone is big enough for that camera, they could put that bezel up, and - no notch, but they wanted a notch...

To me borderless means it goes from glass screen to a aluminium or stainless steel frame.. As such all phones still seem to have small bezel.. hmm typically sales man terms..
