Xiaomi employee 1: Let 's add a NOTCH because everyone else is doing it. Besides our boss needs to "earn" money from the mid-top to top tier models. He suggested "copying Apple" to us after putting our company in the stock market some time ago.
Xiaomi employee 2: Why?
Xiaomi employee 1: Because it's the TREND, duh. Besides all except Mi Max, Mi Mix and Mi Note Series do have a "BEAUTIFUL" NOTCH we all hold dear to. This is the only way to get people who hate NOTCHES to buy our more expensive$$ Mi Max, Mi Mix and Mi Note Series to feed our boss, Lei Jun. We will get bonuses$$ as well.
Xiaomi employee 2: You make a lot of sense. Let's shaft this "trendy" NOTCHED Redmi Note 6 Pro right down the consumer's throats!! If people don't like it, they are "forced" to buy the mid-top to top tier models!! And we get $$ in a shorter time!!
