Another generic phone for insane price, someone is learning from industry leaders, caugh...apple...caught. accept this phone does not offer anything best, unless like Apple at least offers fastest chipset in a world but for higher price, so you should ignore both companies

Earlier was a big fan of Sony, after the Z series experience I never want to go back to SONY, the waterproof stories and my two phones dying after underwater videos puzzled me and when I had to just dump them, I did not want to go back to them. Anything with Z looks waste of hard earned money to me.

Is anyone interested in buying a 3 week S8+?
I really want the green XZ3.
Hate all you want, but Sony really pulled it this time!
Awesome specs at a reasonable price considering it just got released.
China phones may be cheaper, but they compensate by spying the hell out of you.
If you know you have very important files and data on your phone or you don't want your biometrics stolen, don't buy china replicas! Just an advice.
Sony rocks!

It's just normal price and nothing weird. My Z3 was the same price when I've bought it four years back. And it works till now. It's better to pay more and enjoy Sony's smoothness.

SONY are really crazy! 900$ for XZ3, when this CPU is at the end of lifecycle? That's why after 2-3 months from launch the price goes down dramatically.

But 8gb is not necessary again. Yes, they could make it technically but I don't think that they would have more buyer because of 8gb ram.
And yes, if Apple can solve fluent operating with 2 gb of ram, than 4 or 6 gb is unnecessary for an iPhone.
Another thing is that I don't really believe in that cheaper solutions would make lower price tag....

Nice brick Sony did you saw Pocophone F1 or Mi8 Explorer yes we cant compare you with these phones because they are for premium price and quality, you offer only premium and i doubt if it is quality.

I don't know how Sony operates there but here in India and Germany, customer support is great and there's no better alternative to Sony Xperia other than Mi if you want to talk about pricing.

Sony's camera is a bit or overrated even though I did purchased their phones for camera ( the focusing part are not as good as the other well-known brands, try Micro focus on some object than you'll see).
4GB or ram is not enough unless you have no game on phone ( none ay all). Understand this, Xperia XZ is still a phone with only 3GB of RAM and the phone was a late 2016 flagship from Sony!
As for storage, it is also a 32GB! ( And the U.S doesn't even get to have the 64GB option!)
While Sony is already the guy the catching up with the other, and then Sony still doing stupid things.
You have water proof phone ( that's what they called it first, then now it is water resistance). But lack the wireless charging ( go check their Xperia Z ultra ads). Does this one have it yet?
There's so many things I wanted to say, but people would mistaken me as Sony hater, while I have been using xperia phones for years. Xperia X8, Z1s ( T-Mobile), Z3 ( T-Mobile), XZ. Heat up easy during hot day, camera shut down ( as well as phone too) when it is too hot (while it is self overheating during hot day).
Water resistance phone but no wireless charging, a d there's was a stupid cap to cover the USB port for water resistance!

Sony doesn't support us or half the world. They barely market or release their devices. Just throw them online and hope for the best

Here in Hungary actually pre-order goes for 269999 HUF (~835 EUR). It's the 4gb single sim version, available by Telekom.
But there is not any normal gift to it. Only a PS4 game... (wtf?)
So it's not deal...

Sorry but, Sony's prices are laughable, they're not competitive even in the slightest, for 900€ i expect a top of the latest ne ultra high end phone with 8 gigs ram, 256 gb storage, 3 cameras back, 2 on the front, a super fast charging including the charger and at least a freaking headphone jack, this phone literally got none of the mentioned above, Sony is making the exact same mistakes as HTC did, They don't have the following of Samsung, Apple or Huawei to ask such a premium price, I really like sony and loved owning their XZ premium but get a grip on reality sony, outside of japan nobody pays your ridiculously expensive phones

Actually its a good deal, bundled with those Xperia Ear Duo which priced about $250 on the market if i'm not mistaken.
Just wish that it should come with 128gb internal memory, it suppose to be standard in 2018 flagship. 4gb ram is enough, and ram management in Xperia phone is great.
