P20 Pro already had a price cut here in the Philippines by 4000 Pesos (around $ 70 to 80) through MemoXpress, likely in anticipation of the Mate 20 series.
Still not gonna buy one though (nor the P20), as the triple camera thing is still gimmicky IMO. Going to see what the likely price of the next iPhones are as well as the unveiling of the Pixel 3 series. =P

Personally what ever you pay for it. Just amazing camera phone. i not a fanboy as ive had apple samsung sony phones. its just this is an amzing camera phone. as for the price drop this happens usually after 6 months. just makes a top phone even better buy. or is the P30 on its way sooner than we think.

The Sony Ericson P990i was a real great phone. Whilst people were carrying around two devices MP3 players and a phone seperaly. I had a smartphone! I could play music and make calls. All on one device. The SE P990, had a stylus, QWERTY keyboard and numeric keypad ALL in one!.

This is a novel experience, because when Samsung Apple bring out new phones, they charge more then predecessors.
I can't see myself spending €700 on a new phones. They are so delicate. If the phone drop to the ground that is it. The phone insurance are not great either....

Mount my phon... moreI have Note 8 and Honor 10 (which is sort of poorer version of Huawei P20 Pro with some knock-off) I never use the finger prints and it really shows some ugly large bottom bezel...I have bought iPhone 1 in a place 12000 miles apart when it was introduced first in 2007 and I was having SE P990i and iMate 9502....flagship those days! Enough flag$hits I have owned from all makers....

Mount my phone to the dash of my car a lot and if it was rear monted I wouldn't be able to take full advantage as I would need to press power button and than enter security code while driving which is not very safe. With front monted you can easily unlock it with just one touch even if you are not looking at it.
Same if you have your phone on the table and just want to check home screen without lifting it up.
What do you think why almost every manufacturer investing in in display fingerprint readers? Not just for look.
Better study before you make silly comments.

Dude do you really have anything tangible reason to complain a bout this phone? QHD screen is overrated, am surprised your username is Note 9 and you are complaining about p20 pro. I doubt if you even own a flagship phone!

It is way TOO expensive without IP rating and Wireless charging capabilities. Excellent Camera though, but annoying fingerprint reader in the front, NO QHD for its price...Probably, one of the underperforming mobiles in Huawei's lineup.
