Walter C. Dornez, 23 Sep 2018Well, better build quality, speakers, and 5 years of update... moreFair points. Yes, they build them to a high standard, but the design is too fragile for me. Still amazes me that people keep buying things that appear so prone to cracks and smashing. I realise that most phones now are inherently weak, just baffles me. Reviewers need to get away from the concept that glass "feels premium", I never get that. Does a glass hammer feel premium? Glass tent pegs? Ceramic feels premium, a weighty polycarbonate can feel premium. A well done wood could. Look at ikimobile. Their cork devices are stunning, and innovative, and functionally superior to glass.go pick up a Lumia 920, probably the most premium feeling device I have ever held. Just so solid.

Anonymous, 22 Sep 2018Flat display is a win for Apple. Can't see many other benefits.Well, better build quality, speakers, and 5 years of updates along with a very good chip that will age well are just some advantages. Not to mention, and I can't believe I actually have to say this, it's notch implementation is better

Kingslayer, 23 Sep 2018Android Authority had a poll on Twitter and the most new an... moreTrue. What sucks though is that the stock Android phones always seem to have some problem or the other at launch. On the bright side, some companies with skins have started simplifying their skins to make it more stock like

Android Authority had a poll on Twitter and the most new anticipated release for Android phones next month goes to the Pixel 3/3 XL. The OnePlus 6T was second.

I picked RED 6T but I guess the purists will pursuit the Pixels. Pay the premium to get the premium camera. I will no doubt go back to the Pixels once my Essential needs to retire. Software experience matters more to me than camera. And camera is where Google also excels in.

I've said it this before over a year ago when I owned the first Pixel. This product line could be the only one for me as an Android user for the rest of my life similar to ones who always upgrades to an iPhone. I've looked around from Samsung to LG to HTC to Xiaomi to many more. Pixels are the best for my needs.

Laggy software transports me back to the 2000's with resistive touchscreens. I want smooth UI fluidity. No jank. No stutter. And I want my updates fast unlike my T-Mobile V20 still stuck on Nougat after two years. Other OEM's give Android a bad name with all the lag and slow updates. Stick to how Google envisions Android to be.

The only thing that could stand up to it from the Android side is the Mate 20. I know the Note 9 exists, but the iPhone actually seems to best it in a few key areas.

It's like they've learned nothing about the OnePlus 6, LG G7, and HTC U12+ in terms of that.

Either way, good luck with yours when you get it but I'm not spending money on this phone at all. At least the 3 regular looks better.

Anonymous, 22 Sep 2018P20 pro is better than Pixel in zoom quality and low light shots. If the item being photographed is static., then it wins in low light. Other than that, the Pixel is better.

Why 4GB RAM? It is not future-proof.
They need 6GB or 8GB, to keep multitasking performance in the future. On the other side, all specs are great.

I don't like Pixel 3 XL. It is better than iPhone, but much uglier.
