Nokia currently SELL the nokia 600 in Indonesia.

    Here is a proof:
This is a global Teleshop home page (http://globalteleshop.com/category.php?id_category=15). Glogbal teleshop is one of the nokia distributor (out of 4). It sell Nokia 600 for Rp. 2.299.000 (US$245).

It's available on Global Teleshop brick and mortar store and also online store.

It's all good. Nokia have a lot of Android killers anyway and WP is well on its way at eating a huge chunk of Android's marketshare. Android will soon suffer the same fate of Symbian.

      Go Nokia, Go!

All I see now are two companies desperately trying to prove their worth in this market segment--after failing to win smartphone users. One trying to win back its lost glory and the other not accepting that it failed to replicate its success in the PC world. Hurt pride, perhaps?

Windows was never successful in the PDA or smartphone market. The proven reliability of Nokia hardware plus the latest Android OS's huge market acceptance and equally huge application choices should give the iPhone a worthy contender. Instead, they go for someone like Windows who has already lost the fight several times--despite Windows being the staple for PCs. The world has changed and smartphones aren't even as reliant on Windows running PCs today as before.

Time to switch to 603. I hope with 600 cancellation, the 603 price will drop.

This is what happens when you go to bed with a bully like Microsoft, because Microsoft have obviesly forced Nokia to stop making any new Symbians now that WP7 is released! Do not waste your money on a company like Microsoft by buying any phone from Microsofts puppet Nokia! Microsofts Trojan horse Elop have killed both Symbian and MeeGo!

Well, what can we expect from a Company that insulted the Android System and vows never to use it. Nokia probably thinks its better to bet all its eggs on the WP7 platform.

to think i was ready to buy that phone. i have read its manual,i downloaded it to my pc. I am so dissapointed. I think why they stopped it was bcos it was too good. If you read the specs you will see that it really is good*nfc, 512mb ram 1ghz and ability to support flash 11 bcos its gpu is high,it also has a dedicated ram for graphics amounting to 128mb with 2gig internal,hd recording etc.* it would have killed the new lumia phone so bcos of that nokia killed it.
Thanks alot nokia i really apreciate this.

Too bad I wanted to buy this phone as well. It's supposed to be the music centric symbian belle phone. I believe Nokia is working on another kind of model to replace this music phone. From what I've observed, Nokia always has a music phone in its portfolio so theyi'll probably release another product pretty soon. So from the brightest, loudest and smallest, the nokia belle powered phones range from the brightest, most colourful, and smallest. Let's see how that will sell.

maybe they wised up? I've been saying for ages that Nokia needs LESS handsets on the market. Strengthen the brand by having a range of around half a dozen truly distinctive phones, rather than dozens of handsets that are mostly "oh, it's xyz with a better camera"
                                        .
                                        1 super-cheap "just a phone"
                                        2 s40 touch-and-type feature phones
2 Sym3 smartphones (cameraphone and stylish model, say)
2 WP7 smartphones (flagship and "lite" version.
                                        .
                                        DO EET!
