LG Optimus 2X will get ICS update after all, the saga is over

They should not open their mouthes unless the update is out. Their track record is really poor. I think they should stop the effort cause their high end phone sales will go down the toilet after what they did to them selves in 2011.

i love my optimus 2x!! everbody curses me to take a lg set!! bt they are what infrnt of my research n needs!!! i know its good... defferent sets of same cmpany are of differnt nedurs!!! dnt blame lg ! optimus 2x is smthng the best haedware poosible!! i can say its best ! till nw ! better than s2 ! arc.... may be upcmings dodge it ! bt they are 2012 gen. phones! so optimus 2x is bessssssssttttt!! i love it

If its anything like the optimus 3d it won't get released until Google do their next updates LG is poor as a company and it shows in their profit release ....

It's better for them to wait till it's ready, before saying anything more. I don't think I want to be around for another "push-back-date-a-thon"

wohoo.....!!! this is the best news ive heard so far on gsmarena ever since im using the optimus 2x.., but i wont be too excited because of the delay of the gingerbread updates, will be tremendously excited when LG 'do' send out the updates..

I'll believe it when I see it.
I have the Official GB installed via CMW because it still wasn't available for my open unbranded phone.
Many users still doesn't have GB yet.
They'll release ICS when the latest version of Android would be Lemon Pie (8.0) or whatever is called in 2014.
That's a shame considering I left Motorola because of that.
