So according to comment sections, when displaymate crowns a Samsung smartphone best display, it is factual but when they crown an iPhone best display, they are biased and wrong. Some of you guys crack me up

If you read the report from the page of DisplaMate,you'll see how perfectly clear it is they sound biased!
Here's just a part.
"As a result of its larger display size and larger Aspect Ratio, the iPhone XS Max has a new 2.7K Higher Resolution Full HD+ display with 458 pixels per inch,providing significantly higher image sharpness than can be resolved with normal 20/20 Vision"
And then
"As a result, for Smartphones it is absolutely pointless to further increase the display resolution and pixels per inch (ppi) up to 4K (3940x2160 pixels) for a silly marketing wild goose chase into the stratosphere, with no visual benefit for humans!"
With red fonts and exclamation mark at the end!
1500 dollar flagship with with Full HD+ resolution,when other smartphones have real 4K.
Not to mention apple buying their displays from Samsung and some from LG. They cant even build their own.

Apple is selling and displaymate is gladly buying. Pure marketing. Or poor marketing.
Samsung is so stupid that it keeps the poor displays for Galaxy S and Note and it sells the better ones to Apple. :)))) That's what displaymate is sayin' after their bank accoun got bigger :))))

So many people saying how these displays are not Samsung, they're LG. Thats just wrong, they're splitting supply but its like 95-5 Samsungs way so yeah LG are supplying screens but hardly any. They've got yield issues so they wouldn't be able to keep up as sole supplier.

The oversaturated look is still highly preferred by many, and so Sony just made the accurate screen an option instead.
Xiaomi?? Nah, forget about it. My Redmi 5 Plus's display is nowhere near accurate levels, not even a chance. But I don't really mind it, as long as it works it's fine.
