Unlike Nokia, Samsung actually manufactures lot of components themselves. Not just that, they also sell their components to all these companies. The term SuperAMOLED is Samsung's proprietary tech. So, all these brands that use SuperAMOLED for their displays, have actually purchased the displays from Samsung. So, for each Xiaomi or Vivo or One plus device, Samsung also earns. Even when samsung's device sale goes down year over year, their profits keep climbing, thanks to their displays, UFS memory units and RAMs.

          Very acceptable price, $400 is consider reasonable for me, poor country like India mat find it expensive, can't blame them 90% live in poverty.

              Xiaomi has brought sammy on its knees with this ! Even hmd nokia tried to sell bullshit at a premium but within a year they got the answer and they are also on thier knees with 6.1 plus and 5.1plus

                Need to see some trusted reviews to confirm camera quality...
                The 6GB variant is again overpriced...
                One can buy Vivo V11 pro at this price with almost everything better...
                Also, if one waits for a few more months, Sammy will start the offline sales and give this device a price-cut of at-least 4k on both variants...

                    400 i dont think so.
                    Anyway Nokia unleashes its Nokia 9 with many cameras on the back and this phone will looks like a beggar starving on the streets.
                    Also samsung is known for long time waiting for updates and almost no support.
                    So we cant expect much from phone like this.
                    Compared to pocophone this one have a lot to learn.

                      Did samsung forget to put USB C,,?

                        Pricing is acceptable. Not bad for super amoled and Samsung fantastic after sales support.

                          Would be better if they place the cameras in the centre. The front bezels aren't bad, at least there is no "notch+chin" nonsense.
