RAM capacity will eventually stagnate like it does on PC right now. 4GB RAM and 8GB RAM are both commonplace on PC. There is no point in having 8GB RAM on phones. This is Android, not the memory hog Windows.

If you excuse Sony or Google for their shortcomings especially like ram you might as well get an iPhone

Coming in t... moreYou say 10nm is old like if it was ancient and caused so many issues that the SD845 is like the SD810. 10nm is still cutting edge technology. Besides this is 10nmLPP, the more "ancient" one, LPE, was released with the SD835.
And except if you run tons of poorly written apps like LameBook, Clean Misery or others, 4GB is more than enough. I have 4GB on my S9 and it's a 100% smooth Experience even in games like RR3

Whether you're a lover or a hater, remember one thing. Competition is always good for any industry. It's what keeps things improve and keeps prices competitive.
So whether you like or dislike Huawei, you should prefer that their SoC is as good as they claim, cause if it is, then their competitors will have to work harder to one-up them, and thus you'll reap the reward in the end. ;)
P.S. You can replace the word "Huawei" with any other company, and it'll still remain 100% accurate!
