ZloiYuri, 26 Sep 2018People who use widevine for netflix don't buy 300$ phone. O... moreI am not suggesting that lack of Widevine L1 and presence of ads are dealbreakers. I am merely saying that reviewers and buyers should take these into account while evaluating the buying price. BTW, there is no one setting like 'turn ads off'. You need to go into individual apps to do that. This fact is also not publically revealed by Xiaomi. It is only after buying the device that the users get to realise this.

Please show me a credible report that OnePlus has stolen PII (Personally Identifiable Information) through their devices. Website hacks happen all the time (example: Sony), and is a different mattter altogether. For example, here in India, almost everyone buys OnePlus phone from Amazon and not the OnePlus website.

"We hope you already started saying goodbye to the 3.5mm headphone jack."

No, but I have already said goodbye to OnePlus and their 6T invitation. They can keep their notched, jack-less, SD-card-less phone to themselves.

Anonymous, 26 Sep 2018No Widevine L1, MIUI (presumably with ads everywhere, even ... morePeople who use widevine for netflix don't buy 300$ phone. OnePlus don't install l1 in every phone too by the way. Useless feature to watch Netflix on phone. And you know - all ads can be switched off in settings. What about bank account emty, stoling all of your data without any apologize? Still nobody catched Xiaomi fot that things. Not like OnePlus. Security and OnePluson the opposite poles.

Anonymous, 26 Sep 2018No Widevine L1, MIUI (presumably with ads everywhere, even ... moreThat's the main problem with Xiaomi phones.
If they'll gonna join the Android One program with this it'll be a huge hit.

Zion, 26 Sep 2018Cheap Chinese product. Thats it.The greatest Android experience on any device. That is what it is.

After the Pocophone F1 hype train, OnePlus lost its shiny phrase for being "flagship killer".

Battery! Battery! Battery! At least 4000mah!!!! Don't mind the device beeng bulkier!!! We want decent battery life of at leest 95hours avg usage.
Fingerprint reader in screen, if not fast & easy to use as the one on the back why using it??? the tradisional finger-reader on the back is comfty & easy to use, no need making things worse.
It is time after 3 years to provide a real all best smartphone, even with expandble memory!!!

As long as the price is right and os is bloatware free, then 3.5mm or water resistance is not a big problem. Recently i saw Mi A2 pure android os ohhh that was juicy i really liked pure android

As long as OnePlus could keep the price low.
The water resistance or headphone jack doesn't matter anymore.

ZloiYuri, 26 Sep 2018I guess OnePlus hype is over. How exactly did you decide that? The hype over this phone will be even more, after seeing the price of the IPhones. Nobody cares about the 3.5mm jack, if you can use an adapter for the type C. Waterproof will be great, but SD855 would amazing :)
