How and when Nokia or HMD global became a Chinese company.. Those 2 are mainly based in Finland. is it just because their phones production unit is in China?? Then even apple iphone is a Chinese phone. All of them manufacture phones in China does that mean they are Chinese?? Even earlier Nokia phones were manufactured at Foxconn. Does that mean earlier Nokia was too Chinese by then??
If you don't want a phone that is made in china then boycott made in china phone. Buy alternate one.
My Nokia 6 is made in India. Does that mean Nokia is Indian company?? Even Xiaomi had production plants in India does that mean it is Indian company too?
I don't think quality of the new Nokia phones is bad by any means. If you are comparing it to Chinese standards (as everyone believe Chinese products are faulty by default) then too Nokia phones are better in all the way. Better build quality, getting s/w updates timely unlike other Chinese brands.

There is not a single thing special to them. Even the stock android isnt nothing special to them. And they fallow trend that is made by Apple and fallowed by other Chinese.
They just use old good brand and ask that brand premium price. I dont fall on this bs brand and premium when i can get 2 times less price devices with 2 times more on them value wise and hardware wise. And dont need to wait half a year to a full year before it comes EU market with over prices old hardware. Xiaomi for example will announce there new phones and month goes by and i can get a global version of it already. With same hardware as my redmi note 5 AI i cant get nothing from Nokia that will be same price as from Xiaomi. Nokia phones that will have that hardware in them will cost 2 times as the Redmi Note 5 AI. I can buy it for 140 euro already.
And for me stock android is not a big deal that i need it so hard core that i cant live without it and i need to pay extra just to get it. I prefer to have MIUI or what ever the UI will be named of cause it will be unique and not boring empty stock droid.

The R&D team of HMD is based in Finland. The company is Chinise, but who knows the majority of stock holders of Apple?

The gaming phone, teased as "Game on", was actually the indian teaser of nokia 5.1plus, listed on indian website flipkart.com, , so i dont expect a new gaming phone from nokia, , , what they need is hardcore flagship, , and a successor to already successful nokia 7 plus , , ( hope its an aluminum, , ,instead of fragile glass back )
