Huawei Mate 20 (non-Pro) will likely have limited availability in Europe

Same as last year - the Pro and Lite got a wide release, the middle model was reserved for select countries only.

Well, this kind of sucks. When I looked to upgrade my phone a few months ago, the Mate 10 Lite was slower than a year old mid ranger, while the Mate 10 Pro required a literal truckload of money to buy it. I'd be happy to have something in between, but Huawei/Honor offered nothing, so I got a Mi Mix 2.

    This will be awful for us in Norway, I am waiting either for Mate 20 or Mate 20 Porsche Design but I guess it will be as expensive as the top model of Apple so it is not applicable for me.
    We cannot order from other countries due to high import taxes so I will have to choose an other manufacturer.
    Who really cares about fingerprint and sensors ? They can just create a small bunch pro version with all these sensors for these few that are interested but the popular expensive version should be the one with the Teardrop notch.

    I guess I am not the only one that care only about performance, camera, design and battery. Sensors and gimmicks are not for me, Comee On Huawei! Lead the way but be reasonable!

      Huawei does this all the time. In Hong Kong they don't sell Honor phones which offer much better value than Huawei main brand phones.

                  I don't want a giant screen accompanied by even bigger notch. I like Mate 20 more.

                    I really only want the non-pro version and could care less about the pro one. More expensive, large notch and worst of all, a curved screen.

                      If it's like P20 & P20 pro, then everyone will want the Pro version anyway. If it's like Mate 10 & Mate 10 Pro, then i can see why some people may prefer the non Pro version.
