A few negatives i see so far that may affect the rumored Pixel 3XL sales
1) The deepest notch i have seen so far...reminds me of the Huge bezels on HTC devices.
2) Not enough battery capacity for such a big footprint..why not a 4000+mAh battery or at least
a 3700mAh battery.
3) Will there be a 6GB or 8GB RAM model??
4) The price compared to other equally good devices priced way lower.
I am open to be surprised with a notch-less Pixel 3XL or one with a smaller notch than what we've seen so far. Hmmmmmmm....doubt it but possible.

If the Pixel 3 has better haptics than the iPhone XS that means it has better haptics than the Pixel 2, which already had great haptics. I like this.

Anonymous, 28 Sep 2018"his initial impressions of the Pixel 3 XL’s camera is that... moreSince when did telephoto/wide/monochrome camera become main camera in daily usage?
As far as I recall, they are designated as secondary cameras with (often) inferior sensors and/or aperture and their purpose is not taking a normal, usual photo and can be rather limited. One phone not having any secondary camera does not have any impact on main camera quality whatsoever, so your claim is absolutely ludicrous.
Adding more cameras to a device has become a stupid trend that needs to stop.

My next phone needs Pie. I love the new emojis we got since Oreo but Pie adds PIP for even Netflix and really does improve battery life that Oreo didn't do. I just feel Pie should be the bare minimum requirement for any Android device moving forward.
Gesture swipes do get boring. I've used it since webOS. So using it on either iOS and Android will get boring too but it also becomes second-nature that it becomes hard to go back without them. I like the 10S but hate the name and Apple's philosophy.

It's disappointing that it will only have 4 GB of RAM. Also, the V40 will come with a triple camera on the rear. That should become common next year along with the sliding mechanism to avoid having a notch.
By the time Google adds a second lens, most would already have three. The Pixel's camera single lens is still great but having wide-angle and Telephoto makes it even more practical in certain situations.
I think I'll get the black Pixel 2 if the price is under $300. Probably will be the final time a Pixel has a metal back. Glass rears looks here to stay for years. They want us to shatter it and then pay for expensive repairs.
I remember my friend had a white iPhone 4s. Dropped it only waist-high and shattered the back completely. Lame. Never want an all-glass rear on a phone ever again.

Believe it or not, Pixel 3xl is the one I want to go for. I just hope they allow the notch to be hidden. Rumours suggest not though....

We have these bazillion leaks of these phones by now yet there are still some Pixel fanboys who think these are fake and that the actual product will look different... Talk about being oblivious.

Based on rumours, this phone is most likely is not going to be announced in October and anyway it’s not going to be branded as Pixel.
Personally I don’t care about the XL version, I’m more into the smaller version which is
without notch and same physical size as Pixel 2 with bigger display.

Why notch with a big bezel at the bottom ? Such a crappy and boring design from Google

"his initial impressions of the Pixel 3 XL’s camera is that it blows both the Galaxy Note9 and the iPhone XS out of the water despite it having a single camera."
Despite having a single camera? So it offers good digital zoom? I doubt it. Otherwise this comment is just stupid because the main purpose of the second camera is better zoom. So one needs to compare those phones at a 26mm field of view as well as at a 52mm field of ciew.

Hopefully the camera bump is indicative of a larger sensor.
Photography is the only reason to use a pixel, I really wish the iPhone Xs was at least able to match last years pixel so that I can switch to an iPhone as you will never lose your tabs in iOS, something that I am livid about. Google does not care or listen to their users.
The reviewer uses a s9+ as his daily driver but the pixel as his camera. I use a Nokia 7+ with google camera port which produces similar results.
I really wished able cared more about user experience and market share rather than profits which I know Steve Jobs would if he were still alive.
