It is disgusting how Facebook forces you to use Messenger. I uninstalled it, could not stand those huge ads on the middle of the screen. Using it feels like you are in some crappy online chat room.

Please bring back the LOG OUT Button. this makes GFs go crazy to see that you're still "Active Now" even though you already turned OFF your network connections

Still same bloated overfeatured app with too many intrusive ads!
I recommend downloading Messenger Lite - has all the basic features like texting, audio and video calls, stickers, groups etc, only without the ads, games and all the other unnecessary bloat

i only use Facebook with my friends and family. i have no other social media accounts. so i have no issues. it does everything i need. my name is the most important thing nothing more. you don't need to add any personal info about you if u feel paranoid of being spied. as long as you live in this world connected to internet and mobile network you have limited privacy period. so people who keep complaining ask yourself what twitter and WhatsApp is hiding from you. you will never know. they claim all sort of privacy. but could be false

Have you not had enough of spying, ads and political control? Stop using Facebook, Messenger and WhatsApp. Use Telegram instead for messaging and Gab or Minds for the social network.

Me too. It's just a crappy app with too much information on it. They just don't understand the meaning of messenger. It has to be simplified not like bombarding one. But i don't use them anyway so don't care.

Mesenger is a crappy app and it always was. I still remember when suddenly Facebook forced us overnight to use it, and it was rated with 2 stars on PlayStore...
I no longer use either Facebook app or Messenger (I don’t even have them on my phone) and that sums up both - my user experience, and how much I trust them (I just don’t).

My friend got this new ui version at least two months ago. Don't know how but I've seen her using it. I didn't receive this update.
