The feature was previously seen on Nokia Lumia smartphones, but the Moto Z3 Play also boasts it.

I'm not hating. But are these really the best examples they could muster? Windows phone had a similar feature some time ago. Their mistake, as I pointed out in numerous forums, was not selling it right. They should, as LG should, enable the feature to be shared extremely easily.microsoft slipped up there, they had it limited to Windows PCs, in the photo app. If they had only allowed the feature to be transmitted and decoded by Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, etc it could have caught on. Can you imagine, if 3yrs ago, you started seeing actually well done clips appearing in your social media feeds? Undoubtedly, some would like it, and want the hardware to do it. Now if this feature was polished, and available on a Note, with the styles enabling finer editing, the thing would sell devices. Unfortunately, t will hit on an LG device, so to get mindshare, they have to ensure the effect is simple to achieve and the end result is desirable. And one last thing, damn they should have had a bigger battery.

Linus tech tips should make a video titled Dank Or Dumb? about this phone and if their camera guy makes the review we might get a good opinion about the quality of this feature.

Didnt Lumia have this feature years ago?

I'll be buying this device, but not for this feature, that's for sure. Look at the woman holding the windmill, her wrist is morphing and the whole wall in the background moves lol

I wouldn't have posted a poorly edited cine shot like that - quite embarrassing really.
