There are millions of scenarios and ecosystems where the versatile 3.5 mm jack performs its job without any fuss or problems. Even audio quality review of the iPhone XS can not be conducted by this site because of it's lack of the 3.5 mm jack.
These people just can't see that the planned obsolescence by companies are just a greedy attempt at increasing their profits.

Haters have obviously not had the luck to use a OnePlus phone , its the only phone I have used for so long with zero issues and slowdowns. It is truly amazing.

Dude, get real. Bluetooth lags, you have to waste your time uploading your stuff onto your new phone if anything happens to your old one, and GOD FORBID you ever get an accidental phone witha battery that's already discharged thus making you wait to get another one. We're going backwards.

Based on the rising prices of current flagships, OnePlus is still a FLAGSHIP KILLER. We are not going back to $300 unless you want it gimped like the badly named Pocophone. OnePlus has only increased by $200. Not by $400 like other brands. Don't be so cynical.

Best bang for your buck since 2014. Cyanogen Mod or Oxygen has always been better than Xiaomi's MIUI. The gestures might be better on it than stock Android. The 6T will lose headphone jack but gain in-display fingerprint scanner. If it's faster than Vivo's or as fast as the face unlock, then the tradeoff might be worth it.
Headphone jack is great and all. I much prefer having it but many of you need to move on and start using Bluetooth wireless at some point. Going back to wired headphones is like going back to wired controllers for video game consoles. Time to move on. I rarely use my wired headphone jack anymore. That's so 2005-ish.
It's been two years and people are still clinging onto it like notch-less displays, expandable storage, removable battery, IR blaster, or FM radio.

for romanian market was out of stock since the begining of august :( i have to wait for the oneplus 6t, and if it dares not to have a headphone jack i.ll buy the note 9 even tho i hate samsung's UI

£519 for a flagship killer phone. Absolutely absurd, the price is in the flagship range so why disguise this as being a cheaper budget oriented phone but a flagship worthy device?!? I bought a Samsung Galaxy S9 for less than £400 several months ago and that's a proper flagship.

I need to test those speakers as problems pop up. If I don't have a headphone jack on my phone, that means I have to carry some other device that does have one to test these jacks...or as you might be suggesting, change speakers to wireless in ~80 classrooms because while they're still perfectly functional, they're out of fashion on mobile devices.
