From a specifications or value for money perspective, clearly Androids are better.

I actually even wrote that i find the current iPhones better than the Pixel 3 XL & OnePlus 6T, both of which are very respected in the Android world. So next time read the whole thing before you reply buddy...

Boom, you won‘t ever have to pay any repair bill in your life (except for the battery which is € 20 for an iPhone). It‘s just € 3 for a cheap plastic sh*tcase or if you want something more upmarket, Apple even sells a leather or silicone case which are around € 20 at resellers.

Someone keeping his phone for only 2 years doesn‘t care about that fact at all, and might choose Android for different reasons.

Notch existence... moreThis is just ur own personal opinion. Alot of others don't mind the notch on various brands. Os isn't crappy. It is easy and useful for many users. No dongle big deal and sd card isn't as big as it used to be. It is less important and more has more value on cheaper handsets that come with 8/16/32 gb memory. Anything higher then there's enough memory on a phone these days. If phone does fill up if u take thousands of photos then easily copy them to a computer which is more secure than an sd card.
Bottom line is nobody cares what haters think. People buy want they want to buy regardless of hate comments.

I don't understand how you guys can actually compare 2 totally different processors and operating systems. Unless I'm missing something major, were not comparing an xs max to a note 9 both running an sd845 or both running a bio12 (whatever that shit's called) processor.
Why not try loading android onto an xs max and run the antutu / geekbench test. Or do the same with apple OS and Note 9, P20 crap.
You guys are all arguing a moot point that doesn't make sense.
I'm a Sammy / Sony fan (mostly because of android alone) and actually hate Apple (everything about them) but I try to be reasonable.

I have Note 8 and I am not surprised Note 9 comes as The Winner! There are so many areas they do better than their nearest competitors. Yes, they are trying to become pricey but that's not going to continue forever since Android is well balanced with the competition from various OEMs! Bigger QHD AMOLED BEST display, no Notch, REAL Dual SIM with Hybrid Option, bluetooth stylus, DeX Out of the box, Fast Charger, Samsung Gear deals, 8 GB RAM, 4000mHa battery, Samsung Pay, Excellent Camera (S9+), BEST LTE Modem,
