    This one is great, BUT cons below;
I am a Samsung user but not a fan of Sam. I have been waiting for LG V40 for a while now but I am very disappointed with the price vs the contents of a flagship. Here is why:
    - SD 855 is coming soon so SD845 prices should decrease
    - Gorilla glass 6 is coming which is way more durable.
    - 3300 mah battery, even if more efficient still... low
    - only 6gb of RAM and 64 gb storage for a flagship... I feel sad as a consumer
    - I am here for DAC and 3x zoom (wide angle has decreased from 130 to 104) not the UI.
Having said these things now compare a 300 EUR POCO F1 vs 800 EUR LG V40.
ALSO LG did not even make a proper announcement a flagship requires, this also shows the respect for their flagship... really sad..

      One little problem LG...

Samsung uses f2.4 in good lighting because f1.5 will make photo too soft.
It was proved when they made that flip phone in late 2017.

Shutter won't be able to be fast enough to deal with situation. Pick will be overexposed...

I don't use Samsung, nor like. Before someone call me sammyboy...

Ugly notch, average battery size, 1 speaker. Come on LG u can do better

I just noticed the battery size is only 3300mah... I wonder why LG always skimps out on the battery. :/

I guess it's another one of those great but not excellent phones from LG. LG should take notes from the Note9s and the Mate 20s and make a fully satisfactory phone already.

I've just seen a couple of low-light camera comparisons.. i'm very impressed! Detail looks better than both the Note 9 and iPhone XS Max. The XS Max shows a brighter image, but has more noise and less detail.

Mr. Electronics, 03 Oct 2018At $900, the triple camera isn't too promising. I can get t... moreIf it feels as good in the hand as the V30, it has a chance.

So many pauses on this... on the great side camera is improved
LG has tick lots of boxes but still miss out on key features a lot of users have wished for and would have made it a killer flagship starting with
                - could have offered better storage (only 64gb)
                - better battery capacity (only 3300 mAh)
                - stereo speakers (mono boom box still doesn't cut it in terms of immerse sound)

And as usual LG is always slow on updates so I wonder when Android Pie would come to an LG phone

Basically a tablet with 3.3k battery..? Knowing LG's disasterous history with batteries from before as well as all the slowness with software?
And all this for 900? Hmm...

I'd have been happier at a mm wider, with a larger battery. And it should have had Android Pie.

Incredible. I'm fully impressed with this. LG has gone with the most impressive camera setup. Not only they went with the right kind of triple camera setup, they've also put a proper main camera this time (1.4um with f1.5 aperture).

The rest of the specs are also top notch all the way.

I hope this phone turns out very successful for LG.

I'd happily remove the ultra wide camera in exchange for a larger battery.

Joking aside, the main camera has gotten wider from 29mm to 25mm to accommodate a larger sensor. I used to find Lg's focal length just right but unfortunately that came at a cost of a smaller sensor.

So glad Lg still believes in wired audio, I hope Samsung does too, I hope that one day there'll be an Oled screen with an RGB subpixel layout, actually the tab s 4 does but that's a tablet and the pixel density is much smaller.

I hope this phone does well.

At $900, the triple camera isn't too promising. I can get the mate 20 that's going to have way more features in terms of photography, or even the pixel 3. Even $850 would've been better

The camera's look fantastic! I'm really looking forward to seeing some samples.

Hmm would you rather have a notch or a jackless phone?!
