Get the update to fix battery problem with your sgs2. I can share you my battery usage chart which will prove that it lasts 2 days with moderate usage. I can read the battery chart. You work at a phone company and you don't know how to update your phone? Who's stupid?

Anonymous, 08 Nov 2011Galaxy Nexus is a freaking reference phone. Not a high-end ... morekeep your fingers crossed that gs3 will not use the 32 nm exynos and will use the next gen exynos on 28nm

Just gotta hope they finish it in time for MWC. If not surely SGS4 will have it.

Not much to do with quad core above 1 ghz. Untill they give us more advanced gpu with direct x rendering . Then helo new era of mobile computing.

15-20? lol are you talking about youself i guess.

Not being a fanboy, but it's just a fact that SG2 has better battery life than HTC sensation and most of smartphoens. It's based on review from GSM Arena and other reviews.

HTC has battery issue no matter HTC fanboys say that enough for daily usage, which is not ture from My personal experience with sensation and reviews.

AnonD-1544, 08 Nov 2011U forgot to mention a one hour battery as well :) This i... moreExactly. And lo and behold, people bragging how their battery lasts one full day? Good luck on a trip, camping, or a night out. This is slavery, not "mobile" phone. One other thing is that they all look the same, when it's in standby and if there wasn't a logo I can't tell what brand/phone/OS/whatever it is, and I remember when phones used to have personality. Put such a phone beside you and you do look like a sheep, having something everyone else has. Nowadays I can recognize just a very few touch screens, mostly by Nokia and Motorola and a few others. This HTC looks like any other HTC. "Oh, but mine is six-core!" - so what? Learn how to be efficient and one core is all you need. Also, people spend 90% of their internet time on social networks, is it important who has the fastest browser? Nokia N8 can take 12MP photos and HD videos with 600-something MHz single core processor. And now we need a quad core for something? Really? Nothing but bragging rights for kids with no life.

It is proven be true by every reviews that including GSM Arena's as well.

Besides, HTC sensation has very poor battery life. Not even match to LG x2 or even to SE Arc.

Now with power-consuming quad-core, i wonder how can HTC achieve "standard" battery life anyway lol

I truly wish samsung has some sense and stick with dual cores because I just feel they are worse than HTC when it comes to over rated and unneeded specs!

Quad core with the current batteries is just madness! Companies are starting to forget that we are still dealing with a phone.

Galaxy Nexus is a freaking reference phone. Not a high-end phone. How the heck they expect Nexus be quad core there isn't any quad core out there.

Besides, im sure GS3 wouldn't be quad core either. New exynos which is 32nm(Tegra 3 is 40nm)is dual core, maximizing the clock efficiency&consuming less power.

Only example of bad battery life recently due to cpu upgrade was iPhone 4S, which Apple is currently claiming to be work ing on.

The processor race has hit its limits, and more focus should be put into optimisation of the OS like WP7 and Symbian does so well.

As for screens, just make them a higher resolution and keep the smaller screens for pocketability*

This is seriously getting absurd! Smart phones are getting higher specs and this is resulting in more terrible battery life! This is not cool at all.

When computers progress we also get excellent battery life in the package, but what's happening with the smartphone world is getting unacceptable!

People are truly monkeys being brainwashed by the media and manufactures, enough with this nonsense already! When asus introduced the first quad core android tablet they also powered it with enough juice! and it's a tablet not a phone.

A phone with no battery is useless as junk! I would prefer a featured phone that would last for a week over a junk GS2, GS3 and this HTC!

What is wrong with you people ???!! specs are not everything. Yes, I want a powerful smartphone, I still use a single core and I hardly accepted dual cores but quad cores ????!!!! Why ? why ? why ????

it's a f* phone not a rocket science device, let's not forget we still need to use it as a phone, what good is a phone if it won't give me any battery life? Please wake up people! stop being sheeps and stop allowing manafactures like HTC & Samsung from playing you.

we need better battery life!! screw quad core phones.
