My laptop is Quadcore 2.7GHz with 6GB DDR3 RAM and is no faster in everyday use than my wifes core2 duo 2GHz 4GB DDR2 RAM.So unless i start gaming OR more importantly find apps which uses all 4 cores then this phone is absolutly no better than a single core smartfone.

Ask yourselves when the sgs2 uses its dual core ?,because i cant find much evidence. So asking about quadcore seems futile...

I mean the two heavy-weight cores can handle all the stuff including relatively light operations such as making phone calls then why quad core will use only two cores at any given time. please justify your answer. thanks

I don't understand people saying this phone is ugly.

I think it looks classy and well built, unlike those other plasticy samsung or se phones.

You have 4 cores, yes, but only 2 will be active at any one time - 2 low power cores to take care of the mundane stuff like making phone calls, flicking through pictures, etc. and 2 'turbo' cores for the HD stuff and other more intensive tasks.

And so, even HTC turned into same douche as Samsung. New phone every 3 days. Kind of ruins the point of buying one, because after 3 days, it will be already obsolete. How hard can it be to release 5-6 phones and sell those for a while?

whats the use? dual cores can satisfy our hunger for power... now this? even some single cores can almost satisfy consumers...
