The 1.1 update i find makes the "swipe" function a little more responsive and snappy, but i found when the update was first installed the phone struggled a little and crashed or hung while i was msging. In addition the battery life seems to be worse? I normally leave my phone in battery saving mode and at the moment its only lasting 24 hours or less. Prior to the update in battery saving mode it last for atleast 3-4 days... what gives? is anyone else having the same problem?

Still only PenTile, and still no micro-sd card, and still no usb-on-the-go, and still no hdmi-out via mhl..., and still no office editing software at all, and still no FM-radio, and still no Flash 11, and the 4 corners are still too sharp and very uncomfortable/painful when holding it in the hand...
S2 is even better at multitasking, easily have 30-40 apps open without any lag and no need to pause streaming Flash 11 movies in the background using Dolphin Browser mini (I can stream Flash 11 HD movies for 4 hours and 26 minutes using Opera Mobile on the official 2000 mAh battery made by Samsung for S2), and S2 is a lot less expensive than N9, and have a lot more apps...!

just updated to new software PR1.1 took about 45mins via my Wifi at home had no problems. About time Austraila got the update. Seems to work alright.

Now how about Nokia updates OVI/Nokia Suite to work with the Nokia N9 so people can update there phones via PC , music transfer , Photos and contacts would be alot easy to update to the phone.

In the next software update PR1.2 how about a FM/DAB+ Radio so people on public transport have something to listen to.

Inclosing the phone is great but Nokia needs to support their Australian Customers aswell.

Got my update today and i like the swipe down to close apps feature its much more efficient. However i am disappointed that the twitter app still does not work and that you can still not use the front camera to video call. However i am impressed at Nokia's speed in delivering this update.

WHY is the display blue in this video? Does N9 have a samsung amoled display?? Wow that sux... I will drop by a dealer on saturday and test an N9 hands on, this looks just as defective as SGS and SGS2 with a blue tint al over hte screen, where it shoudl be white. And maybe navy blue appears as black also on N9?? Why are all amoled fones so bad in color reproduction! Why is it that only HTC uses good displays!! And some LG models. Problem is that LG and HTC are so bad fones, so ful of software bugs, but they are the only ones with real displays.. SLCD

took delivery of the black N9 yesterday. It blows away everything else on the market including iOs. Easy to use, silky smooth, intuitive & beautiful. Hardware is awesome. Nokia hits back big-time.

Updates to software are available in the UK, regardless of where you bought the phone.
