Nokia 6.1 and 6.1 Plus will get Pie this month, Nokia 8 and 8 Sirocco are next

HMD has committed to updating all of its Nokia phones to Android 9.0 Pie.

        Well i bet Nokia will constantly updates every and any of its phones comparing to other brands which gets 1-2 updates and over.

          Whackcar, 04 Oct 2018The quick updates are the only enticing thing about these H... moreNokia might not offer value for money like Xiaomi and Honor but they are not overpriced look at blackberry selling SD450 for $350 same as Nokia 7 plus which has SD660, flagship quality camera and one of the toughest phones built, Nokia flagships (Nokia 8 and 8 Sirocco) are flop but their mid range game is pretty strong

              Its good news but a shame for the nokia 8 users that got 7.1 when oreo was already available and that now will get 9 but miss out on 10 which I'm guessing will be special?

              Also is project treble a con? Yes it might help getting updates out but your still limited to maybe 1-2 updates by your manufacturer so it's not much different to now.

                Whackcar, 04 Oct 2018The quick updates are the only enticing thing about these H... moreI always see you in every Nokia news, always going against the brand, do you have any idea that Nokia, with their "unreasonable" prices are still selling like hot cupcakes in a lot of countries? I bet your answer is coz HMD is using the "name" of a legendary brand before it died, yes you are right but HMD Nokia is trying to revive the brand with their former Nokia staff, engineers and programmers, scpecsheet online always contradicts with real life usage, Sony fans are the number 1 people to agree with that

                Samsung started like how HMD is doing now, now where is Samsung? at the top, Apple also started the same way but did not learn how to adjust to users demands, Huawei is lurking on Apple's butt with their user-friendly prices which is also starting to fade, so why not give HMD a chance, their phone prices cut quicker than any other brands if you've known

                  The quick updates are the only enticing thing about these HMD phones. They are no longer offering the best value for money. Brands like Xiaomi & Honor have taken the lead in that area.
