Release date in October or November. Cashback campaigns of the past indicate this timeframe.

moto was once king
they stopped giving updates to their phones
they do not give much in their mobiles (except moto gestures n display) which are of no use
no dual volte, only stock android
probably they should have their own UI

Meh, Lenovo will find a way to mess this up just like the G6. Still can't believe they didn't bring the G6 plus here in the US.

Moto is struggling. It will come out and be SO close but yet so far. They are getting the screen right, but it needed a 4000 mAh battery minimum and really probably 5000 mAh if they want to make a splash. Also support for B66/B71 in an unlocked version--bet Moto will miss on that too.
Maybe Moto reads this, just to recap what many people want in a midrange: 6.4" screen, 4000 mAh+ battery, decent processor and camera, and B66/B71 support in unlocked version, headphone jack. Fair price of $299 or less. And maybe offer it in the USA? Device makers make this so hard for no good reason.

It is kind of sad that a legendary brand like Motorola has to retort to it's midrange phones to stay in business. Still, I'm happy to see them exist nonetheless.
It's unlikely, but i hope to see a excellent flagship from Motorola again in the nearby future. Something that can actually compete with the top brands...

It should have refreshed the Phab series phones for those who wanted a solid 16:9 big device. The G7 doesn't need to look like the Vivo V11 Pro to sell. Just reduce that pricing. Switch to polycarbonate to keep costs low and focus more on that price point. The G6 at $250 was an insult.
I'm all for a 6.4" G7+ in the same design they used this year

I hope the render isn't true. There was nothing wrong with the design of the G6. The pricing with the G6 series and processing choice was the problem.

Where's current Moto flagship? Is there any?
Moto had nice phones once, but now there's a mess... No real flagship with good quality camera on the market.
