Yeah yeah it't too obvious that is a lie and the US wants China or these companies to pay them more and also don't preasure their American products such as Qualcomm's processors and Apple's iPhone etc, etc.

shame on you zte! thats why stick to oppo guys!! wake up guys!! oppo rules!!

I will never ever hold or touch, let alone buying this Chinese phones! Even if someone gives me that I will just throw it away in the dustbin! I don’t want my self or my family to get spied! I also worried that If i touch it I’m done! My finger print, face or eye identity might collect, I also warned my family and friends to do so, avoid touching, looking or expose their face directly on it because I also read somewhere else online that most Chinese phone front cam. We’re always active even it not using.

AS everyone has already said, ZTE doesn't need the US as evidenced by Huawei, Oppo and most Chinese companies...and yet they insist on keeping a market they'll probably have no impact on.

          It's quite sad really.

AnonD-558092, 04 Oct 2018ZTE, forget the States. Get some Exynos and go conquer othe... moreThe Chinese are intelligent... they've realised that "mindshare" is indeed a powerful commodity, so that if ZTE can gain success in the US, that will trickle down to Australia/NZ/Canada/UK, and from there other markets.

              For example;
And then it can trickle down in to South Africa/Mexico/Israel/UAE/Singapore/Hong Kong/South Korea/Japan key spots.
Then it can become successful in the lucrative European markets of France, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland.
And later to the other smaller markets such as Spain, Italy, Austria, Croatia, Macedonia, Turkey, Poland, Ukraine.
And after those Nth America and European markets, the next biggest markets are China, India, Russia, and Brasil.... if it can capture these, it can influence all the smaller countries nearby and act as a hub.

              As a rule of thumb:
              Area of Impact...Key Country
              North America = USA
              West Europe = UK
              East Europe = Poland
              North Asia = Russia
              West Asia = Israel
              South Asia = India
              South East Asia = Malaysia
              East Asia = China
              South America = Brasil
              South Africa = South Africa
              West Africa = Morocco
              North Africa = Egypt

United States is not the whole world so ZTE must not act like a puppy.
There is a lot of markets on the other continents where they can hopefully thrive.
They shouldn't have paid for the fines unless there's nowhere else to get another chipset.

I don't think all this pressure on ZTE by the US is even worth it. People here are right, they should focuse on other markets rather than trying so hard to regain ground on US market.

Huawei is a good example of that.

It really feels like ZTE is a school student, who is being punished and grounded by the school teacher named "US Government".

ZTE should focus on other markets instead of wasting more resources on gaining/retaining access to the US marketplace. Huawei doesn't officially sell in the US, but it's now the 2nd highest selling smartphone brand worldwide. If your product is good, it will sell anywhere.
