I would prefer Android updates than those silly MIUI updates, I'm on Beta ROM and I find that useless except for the security patches.

The company themselves claimed that they were collecting information and said they would stop doing so but there is no proof that they have stopped yet.
You didn't just came ill-prepared to the conversation(lol@debate) you also lied about stuff. Moreover you got your data stolen by a Chinese company.
I don't think I need to keep going with this conversation when you make fact out of lies. Good day to you.

        P.S.: I don't own a pocophone.

              Second, OP6 is much better.

              Good luck with your Oppo

Umbilical Noose, 05 Oct 2018Plastic body: Stronger than glass LCD screen: Amoled is no... more- Plastic is still cheap! Looks cheap, feels cheap and is cheap to make!
                - AMOLED screens of now are infinitely superior, unlike poor LCD panel of Poco.
                - OP6 notch is so much smaller and unlike the big ugly one of Poco.
                - Dude, i have owned 5 Xiaomi phones over time. Don't tell me what their software is like. It's a bloated mess. MIUI 7 was amazing. MIUI 8 was significantly worse. And MIUI 10 has brought ads all around the phone. Feels so cheap, unpolished. OP collecting user information was a false positive. And it is no longer happening!
                - Xiaomi known for updates ? LOLOLOLOL! Gets new Android one year after release. No regular security updates. Even MIUI comes many months, even year after announcement.
Look at OnePlus, OP6 already has Pie 9.0 with latest Oxygen OS interface. And OnePlus has promised 2-3 Android updates with 3 years of regular security updates. Where is cheap Xiaomi?
                - Camera can't be worse? How ill prepared did you come to debate? Poco camera is significantly worse. Both front and back. Go look comparisons.
                - NFC is still used to connect devices instantly. And as digital transactions in India rise, NFC will get popular too.
                - Dash charging doesn't heat up the phone unlike Quick Charge 3 that burns phone like hell. Quick Charge stops fast charging when phone is being used unlike DASH. Also DASH charges phone to 60-65% in 30 minutes. How much time does QC 3 take ?
                - And that is why Glass on Poco is so fragile! It is using very old version. Just one side drop and display cracked in online test video. Go brag about that useless plastic now.
                - Yes, bezels are much bigger in POCO. Even midrange Realme 2 Pro has smaller bezels.
                - Yes, widevine is a drawback. Lot of people are watching content on Netflix and Amazon Prime. Not even HD videos. What a shame!

You came so ill prepared to the debate that it's hilarious! Try harder next time. Why do i feel you are either a Xiaomi fan or unlucky Poco owner ? LOL

LCD screen: Amoled is not everyone's cup of tea, though backlight bleeding is an issue
                  Notch: Like OP6 has none
Poor Software: Really? Have you even used it?
ad malware inside software: while OP was collecting user information a little while ago
no updates like OP: Sorry mate, Xiaomi is known for their updates
Inferior camera: can't be worse than OP6 where secondary camera is useless
                  no nfc: use in India?
no dash charging: 20W vs 18W
no Gorilla Glass 5: Gorilla Glass(unspecified)
                  bigger bezels: not much difference
no widevine level 1 certification: wow a drawback
bigger battery: oh you forgot that one, one advantage
                  card slot: one more advantage
At nearly half the (launch)price poco has more advantages. Now what?

SBI card users will get Flat ₹3000 additional discount. Also there will be special exchange offers that will be known later on.

Their demand planning and supply chain is good. They clear the stock every time without much discounts before they release their new models. But this time POCO spoiled their plans.

Discount is approximately 14% from 34,999 to 29,999 INR.

While Amazon US still sells the oneplus for a huge amount of money. The base model is $540-$560. While the 8gb 128 and 256 model costs a whopping $600-$700. What a rip off. I pity the fool that gives into these ridiculous price.

And by removing the 3.5 mm jack... moreIt is just dumb to come and say what phone it is better or not, each one has it's own advantages and disadvantages. And the best one depends on the user and what's suitable for his needs and tasts.

Just becouse you find a phone that's appropriate to your tasts, dosn't mean it is perfect for everyone.

In my case I would have liked to have kept the headphone jack but even so it's not a deal breaker for me, but for others it might be. It all depends on budget, what you want from your phone and what you willing to sacrifice.

If the 8GB / 256 GB has its price cut , then I will not “settle” for the jack-less OP6T.

I will go for the OP6 itself.

How is going to be 25% off when there is only Rs. 5000 reduced. It's around 14-15% off on the original price in India.
