The sheep will all bleat and bleat about removing a feature..For a whole week.
Then the same sheep will go buy it anyway and then tell others who don't like it to stop complaining...Nobody needs that feature they then say.
Meanwhile the week before they were saying 'no jack no buy or no removable battery no buy' but they went out and bought it anyway. Hypocrites is right

People complaining about the headphone jack are the same who complained OP6 for having notch. Guess what? They still bought the OP6, so the OP guys knows about their hypocrite fanbase and know they'll get used to it just like the notch in a day or two.
Why people even buy from this company who just make phones from left over parts of Oppo and Vivo.
No hate, but the success the company is having is just sheer brilliance of marketing and branding.

Now i am not sure how sound from wired connection thru the headphone jack compares to that of using the dongle. Hope some audiophiles will provide definitive answers.

Good phone, good job OnePlus...it seems one of the best in 2018.
But i am kinda pissed with these phones getting narrower and longer. I mean my preferred aspect ratio is 16:9...that said, why are we moving from 18:9 to now 19.5:9????
So what's next 10:9, 10.5:9????? This is really CRAZY.
The usable screen surface area of a 6.2" 16:9 aspect ratio screen is greater than same screen size with a 18:9 or 19:9 aspect ratio.
Please please OEMs just give us a fullview 16:9AR or max 17:9AR screen phones.
I want a phone with reasonable width to it, not a remote control.

For people saying good for removing headphone jack. Seriously, was the jack's presence causing you any problems? Absence of the jack is definitely causing problems for many people. It's a matter of choice. Many mid-range phones have more battery, and also headphone jack. Only thing they lack are flagship SoCs. Why should people pay more to get less?

Removing headphone jack? What a bad decision! There is a company who keeps 3.5mm jack, not notch, has external as card slot……it's called Samsung!

worst decison ever, why not make fingerprint on back? its more natural to use and not give up on the jack? so what if the phone will have worlds best fingerprint scanner who cares? but not have a jack will never be enough reason to not have it over a silly fingerprint.
