It may have an unsightly notch, but it is still a pretty great phone from the Redmi Note series.
The 3.5 mm jack and the microSD card lives on, although according to the specs page, FM radio seems to be cut down.

I appreciate that it exists on this phone, but for the love of our savior, 3.5MM JACK MUST ALWAYS BE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PHONE!
Also why no USB-C still? It's not like nobody will use this phone for more than a year that microUSB will do.

My Global Redmi Note 5 (= Note 5 Pro I think) has been updated to 8.1 a few weeks back.
