An interesting phone along with the Mi Mix 3. It remains to be seen how sturdy the manual slider would be.

Whackcar, 09 Oct 2018Although personally I'm not fond of motorized cameras. I do... moreXiaomi, Honor and Lenovo are coming with sliders now. All appearing to be manual, not electric like Oppo Find X or Vivo's pop-up-camera only on the Nex-series.
It will be interesting to see all three. Personally I was hoping for a solution like Vivo Nex becoming more popular as I prefer that type the most, but not Vivo's UI and the pentile amoled display has too low resolution for it's size as well.
Only about a week until Mi Mix 3 and Z/S5 Pro, and then some more for the Magic 2. October is shaping up to be a very exciting month for smartphones. Mate 20 lineup too I guess, but with notch so no, not reallly interesting at all.

Although personally I'm not fond of motorized cameras. I do see the massive appeal it has with certain audiences. You can clearly see how much attention & acclaim the Oppo Find X received, it probably sold well too in it's targeted marketplace.
Huawei's one could be even more successful due to their leadership in the Chinese smartphone industry.
They will certainly need to ensure that the build quality is sturdy unlike Oppo's...

Sounds funny.
But i dont think any phone will beat Nokia 9 in camera and not even Huawei can beat SVOOC charging 3400 mAh is charged to 97% in 30 minutes that just ridiculously insane.
