Socalteknique, 10 Oct 2018Why launch first in a place where they can barely afford? India is second biggest market in cellphone in the world and it will become number 1 in next 2 year.

Have had confirmation that it will be available on EE in the UK
    128Gb and 256Gb varient. So it's no longer just O2 👍👍

And some of these DONGLES can suck battery life off a phone without 3.5mm jack compared to a phone with 3.5mm jack present. To us, this ISN'T an option. We will stick to phones with 3.5mm jack, thank you.

Will it still have face unlock? It's not mentioned in any leaked specs and that small waterdrop notch without any other sensor can be a sign that it doesn't have one.

Oh No! They have selected bad day for pre order. Because most of people in India are out of home in Diwali festival. If we order in first two days of November 2018 then we aren't at home. Few very opt to ship other than home and many people wait till come hometown.

What about users with expensive headphones (some of which cost almost as much as the phone) that connect through the 3.5 mm headphone jack?

I'm sure many of them will "Never Settle" for the OnePlus Bullet earphones.

Socalteknique, 10 Oct 2018Why launch first in a place where they can barely afford? Actually, no. OnePlus is a huge hit in India. Don't just make perception by Apple iPhones. We, as Indians want value for money... And 'value for money' term has no any kind of relationship with Apple for sure but OnePlus and Xiaomi are brands famous for giving top notch features at affordable prices. And yes! Unlike China where Huawei & Oppo dominate the market, India is the country for OnePlus and Xiaomi.

They are the biggest market for low-end + US$600 price tag phones, along with China.

The most expensive phone launched for official Xiaomi phone is Poco F1 in my country, SE Asia.
And yet, OnePlus phones at US$200 premium are getting sold out through grey importers.
So we also CAN afford it, why not also launch in Malaysia or Singapore to cater for SE Asians (bigger market), instead of Australia ?

                                  Either..
                                  1) They don't realize how big of the demand is in SE Asia (being fed by imports from China)
                                  2) Deliberate superficial hype for high demand low supply = free marketing

Given Up since OP3/3T/5/5T - always low in supply (available via importers only) then by the time it's available - the new version is already due out soon
