I am Samsung user and I will never buy any phone without headphone jack. Android cusomers have many other marvelous options.

Remove head phone jack so can put bigger battery?!! just design & make the battery last at least 1year, then i'll consider buying a samsung phones.

Samsung sucks at making batteries for all their phones. even after you've changed to a new battery, the phone still kills that new battery in just a short period of time. Thats why their Note 7 batteries exploded.

removing 3.5 is good for the companies
but not for consumers
this is a creative destruction. instructed by apple.
ill only buy a phone with a 3.5mm port
this is an important utility
-i dont need to charge my headphones
-they are cheap so i have many
-i can use same headphones for my pc/tablet/phone etc.
if all goes the apple way, ill go with the last to go else.

When the manufacturer is giving a choice, like on your S6, then what's the problem at all?
I'm open to more space saving efforts like, having a magnetic attacher, shifting it outside, etc. but not the adaptor, because its inconvenient.
