Razer Phone 2 unveiled with S845 chip, improvements to the screen and camera

The 120Hz screen is now 50% brighter. Other additions include IP67, wireless charging and a Chroma RGB lighting for the logo.

sixtymes, 11 Oct 2018meh, i'd be impressed if it had a 855 in it. The 855 is for laptops and large tablets because it needs a heatsink to cool the processors and because it also requires enormous amounts of battery. One couldn't possibly fit that into a smartphone sized device.

              The gameplay was revealing, plenty of hardware lag and instability. Perhaps for that reason they used slow motion almost always in the demos. Bad idea to show your flaws on live.
              Without none gamecontrollers as accesories and lack of dual port this is another flagship but with dated design and smaller display than others, even without and ergonomic shape. Doesn't worth the money they ask.

                I really can't wait for Singtel to stock up the Razer Phone 2 for my sister to get one for me since I sacrificed my mobile plan re-contract rights to get her a Oppo R11s.

                The only problem which I don't mind though is the chipset, I hope the Snapdragon 855 CPU don't get released to OEMs too fast to make the SD845 obsolete.

                    For me personally I'd play games easier with big top and bottom bezel phones.

                      I would like this phone for my Christmas present. It's tempting me but I'll not gonna buy it.

                        That LED notification on the logo is sick dope though.

                          What's the difference then between Razer Phone 1 and Razer Phone 2?? NOTHING except for upgraded internals. A DONGLE is easily lost once you're careless. Better go get ROG phone instead.

                              Could this have been better? Yes but is it better than HALF the reveals this year? Absolutely and cheaper than the 128GB version of the Pixel 3 XL. This will get interesting.

                                $800.
                                Not really worth it.
