P22(12nm) is a good chipset with a poor GPU.

Anonymous, 11 Oct 2018hmd is chinaHMD is based in Finland, but phones with MediaTek is 99% China phones with 50 euros price tag max. Just look at Redmi 6 (about 100 euros), same processor, and that is the worse smartphone of all Xiaomi 2018 lineup, even S2/Y2 is better for similar price tag :D
So, yes, when HMD stop with MediaTek and use proper soc, then it will be more Europe brand, now is just Europe based on paper, but it seems that money comes from mainland China.

umeshk, 11 Oct 2018That's poor quality MediaTek is poor quality, still SD 660 is way better that P22. And about 12nm that does not count for MtK, try A22, or P22 on phones with 100 euros or less (no need to pay 140 euros) and you will see.

Now that's called impressive build quality. A $150 phone that comes with a metal chasis and body, unlike those Realme phones and the Pocophone which have cheap polycarbonate builds...
