DM, 12 Nov 2011I will wait till November 2012 before I buy my next Phone..... moreRIM is about to go the way of the Dodo (or WebOS) which will leave only 3 mobile platforms. I think the market can sustain 3 mobile platforms. If MS nails the hardware (they seem to be off to a good start this year) they'll be fine. Consumers will have choices. I'm looking forward to a WP7 device myself. I love the fact that the UI is slick, functional and ORIGINAL!

WP7? hahahahahhaha. nokia is sinker deeper and deeper. WP7 is like iphone without the apps!!! hahahaha. you need to use zune to sync your files with your pc just like itunes. reason why lumia doesnt have bluetooth. dont care what any of you say. nokia still sucks

i just wanna see one android nokia phone. just ONE. and that one to be a high end, monster cell with 1366x768 px @ 4.2 inch ("only").
Why? because not all people like 4.6 inch displays. and not all want to fill a brick in their pocket.
a nokia (here read "nokia" as "great quality build and good displays) with THAT screen size and a tegra 3 chipset would be a monster hit. i know i would buy it and i know many others would agree with me.

Well my advice to nokia at this point is to try to limit the quantity (and market) of their windows products as much as possible, so that they won't have to go bankrupt. I think they should continue with symbian in countries like Nigeria where money doesn't grow on trees, unless they are prepared of course to do away with such markets.

But now after looking the New WP7 thought it would be wrong what i thought...
Nokia has done right decision to catch the market with WP..

You guys need to HIGHLIGHT this..WP runs base on minimilization..NOT required high end processor and feature..so DEFINATELY not overpriced midrange device..the price based on how esthetic is the device appeareance..I got myself a WP device..and got to tell yah..its unmistakenly mine! hardly to compare with ALL looks alike phone in the market out there!

Nokia is not copying Apple...Apple is stealing ideas and saying that it is their own creation. Steve Job is just a Salesman and that's all...Nokia is being fair while Apple is being rude to the people...why? because their Iphone is overpriced...the raw material of Iphone 4S is just $200, when it came out to the market, it is $500-1000...that is considered as cheating...Nokia is fair cause they price their cellphone fair and square. I've tried an Iphone before and it makes me realize that it is just a Fashion Phone and not a useful phone for me. I realized that it lacks functionality and it is only good if you are an application user person but if not, then it is not for you to have....

.. and WP7 phones will be made by Ericsson (that sold thei Sony-Ericsson brand to Sony)
So what remains in Nokia is the development platform, Qt and Linux (Maemo/MeeGo).
They can drop Wp7 on the day while collect the payment from Microsoft as ong as Americans want them. They could not care less, whatever the way things go, they will win. You can also run Android on a couple of models...
