Huawei Mate 20 and Pro rumor roundup

            I thought its gonna be 6.9 inch? Huawei deceive us last year mate 10, it saids its gonna be 6.4 inch and on the day announcement, they launched 5.99 inch... this year they did it again,
            Huawei, the deceiver.

              Well most of the time the notch is hidden anyway, a friend of mine got the Mate 20 lite and i had the chance to try it out.
              If you use the option to hide it, you only see it in the lock screen, it's disturbing, but i Can live with it
              There are two major problems though, first I'm worried about leaving a permanent burn in scar. During browsing, watching videos, playing games etc, the bar line between notch and the rest of the screen will be locked black and eventually this will leave a mark.
              And as i am looking to improve the screen to body ratio from my S8+, i would like my next phone to have slimmer bezels, with the fake bar and huge lower chin the pro has, it doesn't improve that ratio at all.
              Apple used the notches to maximize screen surface, they don't have a chin. Huawei uses a notch just to look like Apple, i refuse to be a part of this!

                Aspros, 15 Oct 2018If the pro didn't have that Apple notch, it could have been... morewhy don't you simply hide the freaking notch for God's sake? you know it can be hidden from the settings of the phone and it will look almost exactly as a not notched phone except the time and, signal and battery level will go on a corner giving more screen room to work with?

                I swear people hate the notch for no reason at all

                        Nice phones... I really look forward for the 7,2 inch model.
                        Pro yes thx, but cant curved and edge displays, tried with 2 samsung phones.
                        No jack stick in pro model, good enough... Innovation. Notch, why not... Looks okay for me.
                        First, i buy my phones for the specs not for the design, i really dont care how my phones look, i use a flipcover to.
                        4200mah not much. My first Huawei was the Mate 8, it have 4000mah, so the difference on 200mah bigger in 3 years, hmmm

                          I still think the camera arrangement looks goofy. Would be better if in a line off to the side like the Galaxy A9.

                              Wow, iPhone X more affordable than this, at least price remains stable unlike huawei phones.
                              Today you pay 1000, tomorrow will be 900, nextweek about 700 :)

                                  Is that definitely what it'll look like though? It's pretty fugly, especially compared to the P20.

                                    If the pro didn't have that Apple notch, it could have been my next phone, if the simple one had AMOLED, it could have been my next phone. Huawei really made an effort to ruin them.
                                    Hopefully magic honor2 won't and will come to Europe...
